Absolutely wonderful experience eating at this authentic Mexican restaurant! We ordered steak tacos, a birria burrito and even had an exclusive ice cream dessert which is brand new to the menu! The owners could not be nicer and really do take care of the customers. The food is extremely fresh and full of flavor. None of the meat was dry and everyone cleared their plates. There is plenty of parking on site and very easy to get too. If you are wondering where to find the best Mexican and you are close to this spot, don't think .. just trust me and try this place out! You will not be disappointed :)

I drove three hours after hearing rumors that La Picosita was the best Mexican restaurant around, and I was not disappointed. I sampled three different dishes, and each one was consistently fantastic. When I approached the window to order, I was impressed by the immaculate cleanliness of the cart. After placing my order, which was reasonably priced, I sat down at a picnic table and waited. Within minutes, piping hot and fresh food arrived. Every bite was bursting with flavor, the portions were generous, and the salsas had just the right amount of spice. I can't wait to return to this gem of a restaurant.

I stop by today for dinner. I tried there shrimp soup it was the best soup I have ever had. The service is the best. Good spot to try authentic Mexican food. Plenty of parking space.Very good food. Cameron's soup very delicious. Very good service. 100% recommended. The best Mexican food I have ever eaten.

We stopped in a little late so some things were sold out which was understandable. We ended up getting birria, carnitas, carne asada, and 2 quesadillas. The birria were delicious!! I had tried another local food truck recently and was disappointed so I was prepared for the worst. These were perfect! The carnitas was a little dry but given the time of day understandable again. The carne asada and quesadillas were really good. The fries with the children's quesadilla were not a hit. They were bland and mushy. But as someone said you don't go to a taco truck for fries. Will be returning for more birria soon?
