Service Experience: Our server seemed disinterested and borderline rude. We felt like an inconvenience rather than valued guests of six years. The Tip Conundrum: Now, things took an uncomfortable turn. After we had paid the bill, our server approached us with a stern expression. She informed us that a mandatory 20% tip would be paid even though we had paid our bill. The Confrontation: I expected a simple transaction, but instead, we found ourselves awkward in front of everyone. In a sharp, loud tone, the server blocked my wife's exit and said, "Tipa, Tipa," determined not to allow my wife to leave with only a $5 tip for bad service and an attitude that matched. Where's the Sign?: What baffled me most was the lack of signage or clear communication about this additional charge. Nowhere did I see a notice stating that sitting at a table would encumber a 20% fee. It felt like a stealthy maneuver to extract more money from unsuspecting patrons. Final Thoughts: While the food is good, the overall experience made me decide not to return. I appreciate fair compensation for restaurant staff, but strong-arming customers isn't how to achieve it--transparency matters. It reminded me of the little side restaurants in Korea where you can get a good home cooked meal. After leaving Korea, part of this dining experience left me as well. Finding a great authentic restaurant like this in the Ft Belvoir area is not easy to come by. The place is small with limited seating, so check before coming by. Been looking for a place that's somewhat close to Spotsylvania that sells Korean-Chinese food without having to go all the way to Annandale or Centreville. Got the chicken jjajjamyeon and Tangsuyook both were delicious! Can't wait to try some other dishes.

Before that I would always have to go to Annandale/Falls Church or Chantilly for good Korean food and good Chinese is also hard to find. This place excels in both! Spicy Chicken Dupbap is probably my favorite meal, but I've enjoyed everything I've gotten. Small mom/pop restaurant that deserves more attention. I will note they close early and stop taking orders 30 mins before they close.

My fiancée and I just found out about this hole-in-the-wall place, and the food is absolutely amazing! Very rich flavors, and large portions. My fiancée got the kimchi fried rice and the yook gae jang, and she said they were the best she's ever had in this area. I had the bulgogi dupbap, and the bulgogi was so, so flavorful. We shared the fried dumplings, which we loved. We did pickup, and it was very fast, only a 20 minute wait. We'll definitely be ordering again from here!
