Pictures are of the Grilled Bacon Blackberry which I 100% ALWAYS recommend (not available on Saturday nights) and the other is the Loaded Nachos (onions I requested) which again I always recommend! (Poor photos but amazing food!Wheelchair accessibility: There is a lift for wheelchairs at the back door of the restaurant.

The food is delicious as is the tea. The scenery inside the tea rooms are so relaxing and comfortable. The best service and interesting history stories. Such a fun experience.

Highly recommend this gem in Lunenburg! Absolutely worth 5 stars!! We enjoyed our breakfast so much we came back for lunch. For breakfast, we had the breakfast sandwich on a bagel and the pancakes. The pancakes are the best I've ever had second only to my Nana's! The bacon was so crispy and cooked perfectly! For lunch, I had the grilled bacon blackberry, which can not be missed!!!I absolutely plan on returning! Worth the drive out to beautiful country for a day of tea and delicious food! The owners are lovely as well!!

A quaint country setting for a meal and tea. The owners were not overbearing, the decor was cute (says my wife) to me it had a unique pub/tea house feel. The breakfast was amazing, I had an English waffle and my wife had an omelet. Both were superb.

This is a true gem. The owners were extremely pleasant and enthusiastic about their business. My wife and I picked this place as a destination for a motorcycle ride. I’d love to visit again.

My husband and I are from Dinwiddie County and took a drive today, just to get out in the beautiful weather and enjoy each other. We ended up finding this gem and decided to try it out. The food was amazing and the service was great also! The owners were so easy to talk with and it was just a great experience. We will definitely be back!

The food was delightful, the service was absolutely fantastic & the ambiance was so wonderful!! I went with my daughters & my parents & we had a lovely afternoon tea! It was a first time experience for myself & my daughters & one that was enjoyed very much by all! I loved the fine china & crystal used & each table having a theme with how they are set up. I will definitely bring my daughters back here. I was there in December for afternoon tea & it was like a full on tea party but for adults, with snacks provided both sweet & savory as well as being started off with mimosas for adults or sparkling apple cider. I do indeed recommend this lovely establishment!
Excellent afternoon tea, 12 of us together so we had a room to ourselves. Yummy scone - good enough that they don't share the recipe, we asked. Freshly prepared finger sandwiches, a roast beef pinwheel, and a salmon poof, all wonderful. Tasty tea chosen to pair well with the treats, including a finish with chocolate mousse and biscuit. A bit of history of the building along the way. Unhurried, well enjoyed, and recommended.

Absolutely wonderful breakfast! This morning was a bit cooler so my wife and I decided to take a motorcycle ride and grab some breakfast while we were out. Rosewoods was really clean and the owners were super friendly and informative about the history of the house. I am excited to see what is to come and will definitely be visiting for dinner along with a drink in the tavern.

Awesome experience! Not only great food but great host! There's so much to do here. There's a pub, restaurant, tea room and more. You can purchase wine, homemade soaps (wonderful fragrances), ice cream and fantastic food!

We took a chance and drove to Lunenburg to try this place. We’re so glad we did! I had a chicken salad and it was one of the best chicken salads I ever had! Owners are super nice. We sat at the bar and met so many cool folks. Even if this place is not on your way somewhere, it’s worth making it a destination.Oh and Queen Elizabeth hangs out in the tea room. She’ll be happy to see you.
