Been once years ago. Grits were really runny, almost like extremely watered down. Now I know the place now has a better cook in the kitchen who's good I've had at another restaurant so maybe me and my wife will try again.

I wish i could leave a no star. Worst place in Lynchburg. Ordered a drink and never came. Asked the waitress 4 times for it and still never got it so went and got it myself. Half the food we all ordered was forgotten and they had to ask where it was. The waitresses were very rude and dont care about customers. I had to walk out before I went off. Terrible place and staff

We tried Famous Anthony's this morning while on our way home from vacation. It looked and smelled a little old and dingy but our waitress was incredibly friendly. All of our food looked delicious. Coffee was good too. My husband and daughter got pancakes and they were very good! I got the waffle and home fries. First of all, they were the best home fries I've ever had. They were so delicious. I could have just ate a few orders of them. But I couldn't even eat the waffle I ordered. Right at the first bite it tasted great, but the flavor immediately shifted, and it was like...tart. or sour? I couldn't quite place what it was. My husband used the same butter and syrup on his pancakes as I used on my waffle so it wasn't those things...so it was either something that was on the plate or in the waffle. But it was totally inedible. I'd bet they don't usually taste like that so I wouldn't say it was too bad of an experience.

Delicious food and amazing customer service! The chocolate chip pancakes and ham was on point! I will be coming back. Also my waitress was very friendly and attentive.

Prices are fantastic. Service was great. Food was very good, especially for the price. Everything seemed clean. Waitress was very friendly and did a fantastic job. We'll certainly go here again.Gotta try the breakfast next time. That might clinch a 5th star.

I can't speak for all Famous Anthony's location because I haven't tried them but, this one is always top notch! Great portion sizes and the food quality is excellent. Thier corn beef hash is a must-try! The biscuits and gravy are on point too!The waitresses, staff, and the cooks are awesome!

0 Stars. Service was ok. Sweet tea was so weak that even waitress admitted it. She said there is nothing they can do about it. We asked for a quiet place and they put us in the corner. Everything would be good but we had to share the space with all the fruit flies around us. Salad and salmon were old. The ranch dressing was good. Would not recommend and would not return.
