Worst mexican food I've ever seen in my entire life. Got my burritos all kinds of wrong the first time. Got it right second time, and burritos were sitting in a big puddle of slimy water. I immediately launched this atrocious excuse of a meal into the garbage can where it belongs.

Mi Patron Mexican Restaurant at Timberlake and Waterlick Rd is excellent. We just moved back to Lynchburg 1st of September after being away six years. We loved the food before and we visited again once we got here. In fact we have eaten there at least four or five times since. The chips and salsa are delicious, crisp chips, and the salsa is banging. We just moved from Tucson, AZ and Mi Patron's chips and salsa are better than any we ate there in six years. The Enchilada Supreme, the Taco and Enchilada combo meal, the Texanos Fajitas (shrimp, chicken and steak), and their many different meal offerings are just delicious. The service is excellent and we are part of a family there. Ricky, Mely, Jose, Daniel have been our family there for over ten years. The ambiance and atmosphere at Mi Patron is inviting and quaint. The restaurant is always packed when we go there unless we go late for a quieter time. My wife and I highly recommend Mi Patron Mexican Restaurants, especially our favorite location at Timberlake Rd. and Waterlick Rd.

Haven't been here since moving from 37 West to Charlottesville 6 years ago. I used to eat at this place on the regular, I happen to be in Lynchburg and decided to grab some food, and nothing has changed and the food is so delicious! Would be nice to have one in C'ville!

Mi Patron has been a constant for a restaurant that serves good food at a reasonable price. My husband and I have been there twice in the last 3 months. Restaurant has changed. I didn't get the dish that I ordered, no one could understand me. The waitress was not attentive and not happy. The other dish was not the same size as it has been on previous visits. I'm assuming the economy has made cost cutting essential and made it hard to find good staff.

Waited one and a half hours for 2 orders of cheesy rice, three tacos, and a burrito. Took 35 minutes for drink orders to be taken. Several customers that were seated after us were served before us as well. $67 order and when I explained that we would not be returning (as regular customers who have now experienced this multiple times), the manager said "I'm sorry." Best of luck to this business as they do not appear to care about the customer, speed of service, or the business as a whole. Good riddance and adios amigos. We will not be returning.

I ordered fajitas and basically it was all vegetable hardly any chicken and the portion size, but he does for two wasn’t great plus it was taco Tuesday and those tacos were just nothing or tortilla with some chicken shoved in it gross it is like five minutes from my house but I’ll never go there again.
Excellent food. Friendly service. The prices are unbelievable. This place should be packed all the time, but I think it's out of the way a little bit so it's not as well utilised as some of the other places in town

Never again will I pay my hard Earned money for a Mi Patron dip to have hardly anything in the container!! And for $9!! Literally a little bit of dip was poured into the bottom to cover the metal on the container. When I picked it up I could tell how light it was and knew it was wrong!!!
