First visit..we must have gotten day old cinnamon roll..so hard and crusty and the frosting shattered when we tried to cut it..even after warming a few seconds in the microwave. It was so dry we could barely swallow it. The middle was a thick black blob of over powering cinnamon. Worst pastry ever and especially for $4.95. We will not return. The man working at the counter was very nice..

This is a must go to in the Lynchburg area. Family owned, this bakery is absolutely fabulous. The custard in the eclairs is perfection, not too sweet and so yummy. Their cinnamon buns are huge and taste so good. The dough has just the right fluffiness. Their brioche are filled with savory breakfast items. I keep begging them to open a Montana Plains Bakery in Charlotte but they won’t so I travel here and get my fix.

Great bakery! Pictured: cinnamon roll & chocolate cream cheese filled brioche. I'd give the cinnamon bun a 4/5. Great taste but the consistency of the bun could have been more dense, I guess it's whatever your preference is. The chocolate filling is very rich! I would definitely visit again. Various options & fitting atmosphere for it's location.

Love this place for breakfast or a sweet treat. My go to is the spinach brioche and they have amazing coffee. Theres plenty of seating and the setting is proper for working or studying.

I am not local, and a relative brought me here for the sausage and egg brioche rolls. I am so glad they did. This bread is moist and delicious, and the filling is quite tasty. Some might say there is a paucity of filling, but there is exactly the right amount. There is a good amount of the delicious bread to spread honey or jam on. I loved them!They also had a cinnamon roll as big as your head. The bread was slightly coarse and dense, spiced just enough with cinnamon and a perfect amount of glaze. Don't pass this up when you visit.They have coffee, and lots of other goodies that I didn't even get a chance to look at. They have a sister store, too, so it's convenient to get these delicious treats.Why are you still reading? Get over there!
