Wish we would have realized this place was so good sooner!My husband and I ordered DoorDash from here a few weeks ago for the first time and now it’s our guilty pleasure!The pizza is AMAZING! Making you want to go back for more. My husband loves the chicken cheesesteak and fries. Classic Italian restaurant!

OIP has delicious food and an amazing wait staff. They have an affordable and delicious lunch buffet daily, offering a variety of choices, including pizzas, pastas, casseroles, bread sticks, desserts, and a full salad bar. Their Sunday buffet boasts even more offerings. OIP makes the best New York style pizza!

Called an order at 5:10 PM said it would be ready in 25 to 30 minutes. Was there to pick it up 30 minutes later and They said it was not ready. Waited an additional 30 minutes, asked again, the waitress looked at the same boxes she looked at previously, had a stricken look on her face and said yes, it was ready. I asked if it had been up there the whole time (knowing it had) and she said “we’ve been busy” Another waitress chimed in saying she was new. No compensation was offered. Rude customer service. Never had this experience at this location before but will definitely not be coming back again. Terrible service, rude staff. We waited an hour for Cold pizza.

To be fair, all kitchens have “off nights.” We picked up to go orders. My wife got lasagna and I got spaghetti and meatballs. We both ate a few bites of our dinners and threw the rest out. My spaghetti tasted like the water that was used for the noodles was not clean. The sauce was watered down and the meatballs did not appear to look real or taste real. OIP was not like this a year ago. Something’s up. We like to support small local business like OIP. Not the big corporate chains. So decide for yourself.
Burgers are usually good except the last two times I've eaten here. Burgers smell rancid and buns are slimy and mushy. I took one bite and almost immediately spit it out and chucked this disgusting meal in the trash where it belongs.

OIP is one of the few restaurants in the area where you can still get a large amount of food at a very reasonable price, all of the servers and management are so friendly, and the food is always hot and delicious! One of the many servers that we enjoy having knows my children and I so well that no matter how long between our last visit, she always remembers our entire order! Whether you're there for the lunch buffet or ordering takeout, you can't go wrong with OIP!Kid-friendliness: Our kids are picky eaters but LOVE the OIP lunch buffet!
This is a wonderful place to eat at, whether it be for lunch takeout or eating in with the family. They have a buffet between 11-2 pm that is decently priced. There will be one opening in Appomattox soon. I plan to return often.
