HELP, I purchased a gift card for my son, while in college, and from Christmas to spring, you’ve closed. He graduates in a couple of days and we’ll have no need to come back. I should be able to get a refund? I’d appreciate any info from your establishment in getting this taken care of, please. 1 star because I had to get someone’s attention, but 5 stars because when you were open, it was yummy and serving staff were super friendly!!

This is my second time here within a week and both times they "just" sold out of the brisket. Tonight, the waitress had the audacity to tell me that "if I hadn't ordered so late" I may have had some. Oh I'm sorry, I didn't realize 7pm was a late night out. She proceeded to ignore us the rest of the night and had another waitress bring our food out to us. Needless to say that will be my last trip. Oh one last thing, the "warm" cornbread is served cold. Not room temperature... Cold. As from a fridge.

Ordered wings for a small Super Bowl party and was very disappointed. We split the order with 2 different sauces and we couldn't tell the difference in the sauces. One was supposed to be BBQ and the other Asian Zing but no difference in taste! It would have been nice to get a little extra sauce with the order as the wings were dry and lacking in flavor. On the plus side, the wings were a good size. For the price we paid for the wings, I was hoping for better. Next time, I'll order my wings elsewhere.

I'm a newbie in the Burg so imagine my joy at discovering Small Batch...and less than 6 min from where I live on Rivermont. I'd go just for the sides alone... best Mac n Cheeze and brisket beans ...ever! They have incredible BBQ...but my fav on the menu is their newest addition of the fried chicken sandwich with pimento cheeze and bacon.

Delicious food, great service! I will say this restaurant is small but has a cozy feel. Pricing to portion size is pretty average, compared with other restaurants in the area. I loved the brisket, Mac and the brussels, great flavor!!

We stopped here on our way through Lynchburg and are happy we did! We got the sliced brisket and pulled pork, and enjoyed them both. They both had a nice flavor and the cornbread was wicked yummy. Their mule was very tasty as well. If we pass through this area again, we’d definitely stop here.

Cool Vibe. Great Barbecue and Service! Note....When ordering, everyone should get something different. All the Meats and Fixins are good and the portions are above average size.
Fantastic local BBQ place! With very friendly service, a wide selection of drinks and of course excellent BBQ, this place is a must. Since the meat has been smoked all day we were served quickly and every single thing was delicious. I had the smoked burger and it was scrumptious. Highly recommend, and if your not convinced yet just see my pictures below. Must try!

Superb food & service. Had the ribs, started with 1/2 rack, so good got another 1/2 rack, pulled pork sandwich, pickles, Cole slaw & cornbread. All excellent! Service was great too, kept filling iced teas without having to ask. Worth a drive from anywhere.Also has a great outside porch with heaters!

Pretty good place. I really have no complaints other than the sweet tea being not that great and the service was a bit slow. Ribs- amazing. BBQ burger- delicious. The sides were great- except the Mac and Cheese. Mac and cheese needs some work guys, sorry.

I ordered takeout, which was a shredded chicken platter and two sides. With taxes and tip it was almost $20, so I expected a decent amount of food. Portions were very skimpy. The side of Brussels were oil soaked and mushy and consisted of less than a 3/4 cup amount. I would not recommend this place if you are hungry!

No burnt ends available!!!!! Pulled chicken was cold I asked for a warm bbq sauce and was told they don't do hot bbq sauce! Really so the cook/chef doesn't know how to serve a side of warmed up bbq sauce? Beans with brisket was good, Cole slaw was good, and Mac & cheese was medium. Jalapeño sausage was good with the room temp. Bbq sauce. A three hour drive visiting family and found this place on Yelp. We were the only guests in the dining room before 4pm. I really wish I could have gotten hot bbq sauce.
