Great service, beautiful atmosphere, and seriously amazing food. My husband and I just moved from Charleston, SC (known for amazing food), and both agree that Truss was the best brunch we have ever had. Will definitely be going back for dinner (and for more brunches)!

Hey, Lynchburg has some great food options! I just wish they stayed open a bit later and had an espresso machine. But seriously, their brisket is incredible. And don't even get me started on their breakfast - that yogurt with berries is a must-try!

Lovely dinner at Truss on a Friday night. The food is as good as Isabella’s, imo. They also have a zero-proof drink menu, which is really great. I had one of the zero proof cocktails, and it was delicious and fun (and very large, so worth the $$). The Brussels spouts were amazing, enough for 4 people to split. My Duck Confit was perfectly cooked. Portion size was perfect — not too much. And the Citrus Posset for dessert was like nothing I’ve ever eaten! Everyone else loved their food too — I would have to try more to say so for sure, but this might be LYH’s best restaurant at the moment. The prices are a bit high for Lynchburg but worth it. Fancy date night or celebratory dinner place for sure.Dietary restrictions: Most of the dinner menu had gluten free options!

The restaurant is gorgeous. Like one of the best looking restaurants Ive been. The food was hit or miss unfortunately. The bread is out of this world. The feta app was divine. My pasta dish was pretty dry and kind of boring. My wife’s braised beef was good but needed something. Ganache dessert was pretty great. Service also needed work as other people mentioned. Not bad but definitely seemed to have plates sitting for awhile or even when our waitress came to talk to us she wouldn’t take our empty stuff away which was weird. Overall I’d definitely come back here, just the food and service didn’t quite match the decor.

Cute, modern and welcoming. Then we sat down. I’m disappointed to have to leave this review as we had high hopes. Service needs work- as in training -our dishes piled up and the earnest but undertrained waitress was struggling. Food- scallops were tiny, pureed butternut was baby food and the grain mix so over salted it was inedible. Special swordfish- overcooked and presented already sliced into strips. The reviews here don’t tell the story. Hopefully we had an off night.

Gluten free options! Including crab cakes. Hanger steak and scallops were delicious! Uniquely crafted cocktails. Beautiful restaurant- definitely try it out.

The menu is limited...the price is high...the service is untrained and unmotivated...reservations are never needed because there are always empty tables...location and parking are great!

Came for a quick date night and enjoyed the experience. The ambiance is beautiful and our server was super sweet. We ordered an appetizer and entrees and still had room for dessert. The dishes are simplistic, small portioned, and clean. The homemade focaccia was the highlight. Love the cocktail menu design.

This is place has an elegant feel to it. The staff is pleasant and appear to be well-trained. The menu is simple in appearance, yet big on surprises! We started with warm bread and fresh, soft butter. My daughter requested an apple martini, but they did not have the ingredients to make it. So, the bartender created a pear martini that she loved. I tried their "no-garita" zero proof mocktail, it was a great tasting spicy drink topped with jalapeños. Next, we had the Warm Whipped Feta and Roasted Brussel Sprouts. They were both perfectly created. For our main dishes, we ordered the CONFIT DUCK LEG and Scratch Pasta. Both we amazing' The pasta is constructed simply with cream, mushrooms and swiss chard. Truss is a breath of fresh air in the food department! I've been craving something different and unique lately and this meal was exactly what I've been looking for. Highly recommend Truss!

Truss was a very fine place to dine at on a Friday night. We are trying all new restaurants and it’s been a joy! Our waiter took really good care of us and he knew his stuff concerning the wine and some of the products that we were inquiring about. We all ordered different items and it was “eh ok”. So I had the Pasta dish and it had no taste at all to me neither did the steak. My lady ordered the chicken entree and seemed to really enjoy that! THE BRUSSELS SPROUTS WERE TO DIE FOR!!! Omg!!! Please send over that receipe! Overall the experience alone was great! Very upscale!Parking: He has a huge lot to part in!Wheelchair accessibility: It’s all one level and the handicap parking is right in front of the building!

Food is good, staff is friendly, atmosphere is decent.Reservation for 4. Seated immediately at 5:52. A server did not come to our table. Servers and host walked by several times but not check on us. I asked for a server at 6:02 at the host desk. Our server came at 6:05. She seemed very new and was apologetic. The service between drinks/dishes was a little too slow to have a put together meal. The food was good, portions were good. Not enough for left overs, but enough for a single meal. It was just a lot of waiting to order food or drinks. We ordered dessert and coffee, but the coffee didn’t come out. That’s fine, dessert was good.I don’t think I’ll add Truss to my favorite LYH restaurant list. But it is a nice place to go every once in a while.
