Great place. I ordered a seasonal latte and a cookie. Both of these were amazing. The lady behind the counter was so friendly, and she talked to us like we were regulars. It was a very welcoming atmosphere. I highly recommend this place to meet up with friends or go to do some homework.

I am new to living in the Lynchburg area and this is what I call a PROPER cafe! The last time I saw something exactly like this was when I lived in Europe. I like that this cafe is not pretentious, and they even have wine! I also absolutely love their wooden floors and Victorian style furniture. In fact, that is one of the reasons why I will certainly be returning and becoming a regular here either by myself or when I have company to visit me.White Hart: please do not change. Keep doing what you´re doing because there are many of us who do like old school style cozy cafes.

My husband and I absolutely love this spot! We have officially become regulars here! The owner always comes out to greet us and their cook, David, always is an absolute pleasure! He remembers our order every time and banters with us as he cooks. He goes above and beyond serving us food, we truly come here for the company! i ordered an iced latte, and it came out tasting burnt and watered down. i figured it was from maybe leaving the shot out for too long, it just tasted awful. I wouldn’t have said anything, but i spent nearly $8 on a small coffee, so i asked for it to be remade. however; the barista absolutely refused to do anything about it and said there was nothing they could do, and to have a nice day. I also work in food service, and do anything i can for my paying customers to enjoy their order but this was not done here. very disappointed as i am a regular customer but will no longer be ordering from them.

Nice environment but the food needs major improvement. Ordered the chicken and pancakes and never in my life have i been more disrespected by a piece of fried chicken. It was salty but flavorless, fr pissed me off. Service was also lacking.

Ordered over 140 dollars worth of drinks and coffee and food for our family. Then they closed the grill and our other part of the family was told the grill was closing for the time being bc it's backed up. No time estimate known. Very strange, for a kitchen to close with the reason being "too busy in the middle of a Sunday." Asked for the cashier to check bc half of the party doesn't have food now....they said no.

The coffee was great and the breakfast sandwich was amazing for $6.50. They do something magical with their bacon that blew my doors off. Gets congested when you enter and you'll have to navigate the lines but worth it.
