Absolutely great people!!! The best subs ever!!! Not to mention the desserts!!! So much to see within this shop... the wide variety of Virginia wines and even hot sauces... love this place!!!
Piedmont deli is the best deli Madison has to offer, and has been for many years. Call ahead if you're in a hurry during lunch hours because they will be busy. Best lunch in town.

After a half day drive down Skyline Drive - I needed some lunch on the way home. As I was passing through Madison, VA on U.S. 29 - I noted Piedmont Deli - which I've seen for years - but never visited. So in to Piedmont I went...I ordered their version with an Italian Sub - with mayo, lettuce, tomato, onion, and banana peppers - to go. Sub was made to order.
