Idk if it was off day or what but it sucks. Chicken clearly was old.... like I'm talking yesterday's heating back up. Cause it was 1030 and I'm pretty sure they open at 8. So no way the chicken should be the way it was. Fries might as well have been in the same boat. Really sad...I'll give it another chance on another day and time and maybe change my review.

Great food. The chicken livers and gizzard are popular so the wait might be a while. They have a good system on how to order pay, receive the food. Its not fancy but it's gooood.

I stop every morning for diesel and all my day needs, the women a cashier is soo very rude, very disrespectful to customers, I know this lady since 2013 , she was living in Annandale va , she was in a very bad situation, this gas station give her a new life , but she is not loyal to this business, I’m just requesting to owner that save your business and teach her how to deal with customers, thanks

After seeing the reviews for Charlie Bob's - and the specific mention of their breakfast sandwiches - I had to visit!I ordered the Bacon, Egg, and Cheese biscuit - with extra cheese - plus an order of hash browns - and a side of Scrapple. I'm not a big Scrapple fan - but one of my good friends is - and so I wanted to be able to report back to him...So you order your food at the back counter, the lady behind the counter hand writes out your order on an old school order pad - you then take your slip of paper to the register - they ring you up, and stamp the hand written order slip - which you then give back to the ladies at the food counter - when you pick up your order. The Bacon, Egg, and Cheese Biscuit was outstanding! De-frickin' Delicious! The hash brown was hot and crispy! The Scrapple was not a hit with me - it was very greasy - maybe that is how Scrapple is supposed to be - but since it was not my primary order - and I doubt I would order it again - it's not going to detract from my review score.I will definitely be back for more breakfast sammich goodness - as well as to try out their Biscuits & Sausage Gravy - as well as their Salmon Cakes (Fridays only) and their fried chicken!#CharlieBobsMarketAndDeli

It's just a gas station slash convenience store with some extras. BUT, there is a food counter in the back, and it has some pretty great food! The ladies behind the counter really know how to cook. I would probably give it 4.5 stars if it was possible. I have bought some of the Amish jellies or candies offered here. They were good, but I come here for the fresh food. They have great chicken tenders and fried fish. When I get the fried fish, I usually get french rolls (or sub rolls) before buying the fish and I go home and make the most amazing fish sandwich with tartar sauce and some cole slaw (bought elsewhere). Or sometimes, I use lettuce and tomato on the fish sandwich. Remember to ask for your sauces (tartar or honey mustard, ranch, etc). They don't usually ask if you want condiments, so you have to remember yourself. The chicken has always been good with wonderful, tasty green beans, fries, or potato wedges. I LOVE their wedges. I tried the steak and cheese sub recently and another customer said the pizza and subs are great while I was waiting, but I was a bit disappointed in the sandwich when I opened it at home. Due to health issues, it is splurging when I eat here, and the steak and cheese was just too greasy for me. Even the outside of the bun was greasy. I suspect they used extra oil on the grill to cook the steak (chips of beef meat like the old steak-um but a little thicker). I saw a couple of onion pieces in it, and the lettuce was very wilted since there was not much of it and the hot meat and grease essentially cooked it inside the bun. I prefer lots of veggies in my steak and cheese (fried onion and bell pepper on the grill with the meat, and fresh, crunchy lettuce and tomato). I never saw or tasted the cheese on the sub, but maybe it looked like the mayo I think I saw. Not a sub I would order again since I could ask for no mayo, but there is no way to remove all the grease after the fact, but I still love the other items. I haven't tried the pizza. I have had the breakfast sandwich on "light" bread like your Mom might have made you back in the day. I THINK she did offer a biscuit or croissant. Anyway, there were other bread choices, but I just wanted sliced bread. The sandwich was good. I had the sausage gravy with biscuit another time and it is also wonderful. I have liked nearly everything from here. It has an old country diner kind of feel to the food choices and taste. There is not anywhere to sit down that I noticed and I am usually travelling when I stop here anyway. I wish they sold diet fountain drinks here, but they do have bottled diet drinks.

OMG this spot is amazing! The chicken is absolutely amazing ask for it in the po boy bread! Best corn bread I ever eaten! The food comes fast and has so much soul! Could eat here for breakfast or lunch and always a cheap dinner that hits toooo good! Potato wedges and the green beans are another must get! Next is to try the fried shrimp!

Absolutely amazing experience. One of a kind gas station experience. I honestly went in for gas but got so much for. The warm meals are amazing and at a great deal. The workers we’re incredibly friendly and made sure to make the process quick and easy. I highly recommend their egg and bacon breakfast sandwiches. It has a home feel and was delicious. They had a very large collection of snacks and drinks and I got to try some things I had not seen before.
