My best friend and I came to Okra's quite some time ago for a local yet enjoyable dinner. Everything we ate deserves a 5 star all day rating! This includes the shrimp and grits, alligator bites, and the legendary.......cranberry bread pudding topped with powdered sugar! Whoa!!!!! Come get some!

CLOSED - Went to support them one last time before they closed - they said they'd be open until the end of the year...website says open Wednesday - Sunday @4pm each day. Went yesterday (Wednesday) and it is clearly already closed - all the lights are off - very dark, tables and chairs stacked, boxes in the dining area. At a minimum, update your website and the recording on your phone number - very very disappointing way to go out! Okras was a good one, sorry to see them go and on this note.

Warm friendly unassuming ambiance and good down home food. Good beer selection. Save room for the bread pudding!

We were there with close friends and there were 4 of us and tables open and they stuck us in the bar sitting and it was uncomfortable and cramped for 4 people. No drink menus, ran out of Stella beer and the hurricanes were nothing but juice. The appetizers were good but almost $14.00 for 4 shrimp and mashed potatoes swimming in butter and no gator bites on the menu or poor boys. We all ordered the crawfish etouffee and I think between the 4 of us we had had 4 pieces of crawfish and very dry, it was mostly rice. So us paying over $200 between the 4 of us we had real expensive rice, celery and onions. We use to eat there before covid and the food and menu were great but after covid it has gone downhill. It will be awhile before I do back.

The food here is excellent. We’ve tried to stop in (out of our way) twice now and unfortunately just haven’t had the best experience. The last time we stopped in they forgot to put our order in, instead of just admitting it they danced around it. The last time we called to ask if we needed/could do call ahead as we were coming from an hour away. When we showed up, we were told the truck never showed up and they were serving 2 dishes only. They never mentioned this when we called. We really love the atmosphere and the food, but the communication is hard to get behind. We’ll probably give them another try if we’re in the area again.

Overpriced and unknowingly upsold...Dinner was just ok, they do know how to fry their food well but everything else was blah.I was looking forward to the dirty rice and ended up with overcooked mush for $18.The waiter casually asked the entire table after each order if they would like cornbread with their meal, the way he stated it made it sound like it came on the side. He did not tell us it was an additional cost. We ended up paying $20 in just cornbread.Very disappointing experience.

I have taken their food many times, but I was never disappointed with their services and dishes because their delicious item always attracts me to visit this place again and again.

The meal was just "meh". I had the crawfish etouffee. The size of the dish was child-like, and there were only a few pieces of crawfish in the dish. In fact, there were more onions than crawfish. I am from the region of the world where these dishes originated, and they got it wrong on all fronts. Second, Okra is in the name of the resturant. I tried to order some Okra and they said they had run out. Mind you, I placed this order at the key dinner time 7:15-7:30 p.m. Ya'll need to do betta'.

We have been going to this place on an average once every other month. The food was awesome as always but the service is getting bad to worse. Today was kind of worse. The server came with a cold attitude and was all lost when taking the order. Her attitude was like why are you here? I understand and truly from bottom of my heart appreciate servers working during this pandemic times. Especially when they could get "free money" for not working. However this kind of cold attitude is not acceptable as I am spending my hard earned money too. I hope the owner takes note if this and will try to bring some order.

Had an excellent meal and experience sidewalk dining. Our server was genuine and friendly. The food was terrific. There was five in our party and we had a survey of their appetizers and entrees and were pleased with the food.

This is a favorite of mine. Good is excellent and service is usually very good. Shrimp Creole could have been more flavorful, but other Cajun favorites were nicely prepared.

A long wait turned into a great dining experience! Wait staff was very knowledgeable and helped us make our final decisions ordering. Definitely will go back next time in the area.
