After a few months of "remodeling" this place (Formerly known as Rikko's) finally opened back up as Sabor A Barrio. My daughter was ecstatic, because she asked for Rikko's every Friday, and I faithfully brought it home for her, for over a year. Under this new management, my experience was completely different. I tried to call and order for pickup several times, but their number goes straight to voicemail. I decided to order in the store for carry out, and placed my order. 10 minutes later, of me sitting there waiting patiently, the cashier has the nerve to tell me that they are out of freaking chicken! What?! I looked at her like she had lobsters coming out of her ears, after making me sit there for 10 minutes waiting for nothing! It gets better though - the next 15 minutes were spent with them trying to figure out how to refund an order. Literally 15 minutes of them calling and leaving messages for someone, talking amongst themselves, etc. They offered to give me cash to go away! Is that even legal? Eventually, I asked them to turn the register around so I could see it, and I showed them how to process the refund. I got my receipt and left, forgetting (flustered) that I had pre-tipped them hoping to receive the great service I was accustomed to with Rikko's. That service was nowhere to be found, and neither was the tip I left. Please do not go to this place and waste your time. There is an excellent kabobs restaurant nearby, and a couple of other excellent south American cuisine restaurants nearby that deserve your patronage. Not this place. This is sadly no longer Rikko's.

Bad food I went to eat with my family today and the chicken was messy and my husband ordered a soup with choro and the choro had sand in it the huancina sauce was not fresh kept I went to this place and the food is not useful and I complained and it was angry as possible

My experience in this place was the worst, the whole family went and my mother-in-law ordered grilled chicken, the chicken is raw and sticky, I ordered a parihuela and it was sandy, we all had a bad experience in this restaurant.

I would like to give them a good review, but unfortunately the service was terrible. I waited over an hour for the main meal not giving me a chance to try the food. Since I wasn't going to wait all day. You definitely have to change the waitress or the manager.
In Sabor a Barrio you can feel the flavor of Peru ? all the food is delicious, it just needs to be finalized some details regarding the attention, otherwise everything is excellent.

Today, 01.21.24, a group of 4 people just went to lunch and the lady who is serving the tables took half an hour to provide the menu, they had few costumers and she just walked through the premises without serving, we left without consuming the lousy attention.

Unfortunately I have to put nothing but a negative review about this restaurant. The owners in the restaurant hired a young man to help out as a cook in the back, and failed to pay him his last pay and promised to send him his money, however never did. Recently they verbally abused him and try to damage his reputation. The male owner Alex Sifuentes Shols and female owner Allison Karina are bullies towards their workers. Heads up for those that are looking to work in their restaurant!
