We tried this restaurant for the first time and had the Saag Paneer, Butter Chicken, and Basmati Rice. The portion sizes were generous. The food was fresh, hot, and delicious! The staff was friendly and they definitely care about their customers. I highly recommend this restaurant and will be returning often!

Food was great very flavorful nice presentation atmosphere is pleasant service was quick and polite. My only issues were I wish I could have gotten a lil more chicken with my chicken biryani for 15$. The butter naan is awesomeness. I enjoyed the kadi chicken it was on point

We have started frequenting this very good Indian restaurant prior to shows at the Hylton Performing Arts Center. Saag Paneer is especially good. All the chicken dishes we have tried - Butter, Tikka Masala and Kadai - were all good. The Vegetable Samosa appetizer is also recommended. Great flavors, just the right amount of spice. Never seems to be crowded even before shows, which surprises me. If you like Indian and are headed to the Hylton, give this place a try.

We were craving Indian food and wanted to try a different place other than Rangoli. Ordered online for a pick up at 7pm. We had a warm welcome and our food was waiting for us. We had two orders of Chicken Tika Masala, one butter chicken and naan. When we got home, we were surprised of the portions as well as missing naan. The food was good, but we only had a small portion of rice to go with it all. We ended up making our own rice. I called that evening to let them know the issues and left a message. Four days later, still no response. Thought we give them a try, but our first experience and impression was not a favorable one.

I had the Chicken Tikka Masala and my husband had Butter Chicken. Also, Vegetable Samosas and Garlic Naan. I've had alot of Indian food and I'd be hard pressed to think of a better meal. Everything was fast, piping hot and delicious!! I recommend this place highly!!

The Naan was really soft and rather large. Good for dipping in the butter chicken that is extremely flavorful. A lot of food for the price and it's really tasty.

Aside from having my card charged three times for the order, this place seemed very nice. Though it was takeout, the establishment was clean and the butter chicken tasted awesome. This is just a preference of mine but I prefer the chicken chunks a bit smaller. They put in some pretty massive chunks. I like the smaller pieces so it’s more infused with the sauce. The naan was delicious but on the thick side but, this is just a preference of mine again when I compare it to the style of naan that I like.

Ordered Vegetable Biriyani got take out.The Biriyani was nowhere close to a Biriyani. The texture of the rice was like a fried rice. It was more like a fried rice.The raita given as side was also not good.Definitely we’d lot of improvement.2 years back I had a buffet here and it was not bad. But my recent experience was not good. I will not recommend Biriyani here

I got the samosa chaat for takeout, however I ate it right away & it was cold. It tasted like it had been sitting for a while. I also ordered the vegetable briyani which also was not good. I am vegetarian and found pieces of chicken in my briyani. I love Indian food but this place was not it. If you’re going to eat here, do not order either of these two items.
We've been looking forward to this place; quiet an unobtrusive but the service was good and the food was amaze-balls. My new go to place. I would have taken pictures but I ate the food all up

I never give 5 stars but when I do, it’s a place like this one. Love the food, atmosphere is great! Such a hidden gem this one is. The dishes are served in these cool bowls which makes it feel authentic. Such favor, I am a fan of spice and these dishes made my taste bids dance. Definitely a recommend from me.

Just picked up curb side. All of our meals seemed like they had been sitting for a while, Naan was tough and chewy. Spicing of meals was irregular. Chicken was very dry. Will not go out of our way to eat here based off of first impressions.Updated: for some reason I cannot respond to the owner reply; however, the curbside was today. Not yesterday.

Tried the Spice Route for the first time this evening, ordered through DoorDash for pickup. The food was great! It's tough to find good Indian food but this place does well - the curries were spicy and full of flavor, and they were very generous with the rice! Great meal, we will definitely order again! One tip to the owners if they read this though - could you please write on the pots what each dish is? It can be confusing! :-)

I just call the restaurant about if they have buffet open and guy who picked up the phone was very rude!! Very disappointed!! They should not talk to their customers like this. They need to learn how to present the service in advance so people get honored to come. I wish could give them -1 star!!
