Some of the best lattes I’ve had! And I absolutely love their breakfast sandwich on gluten free waffles ? I love that they have a bunch of gluten free options from breakfast sandwiches, to ramen, and pastries. Dairy free milk too. I only wish there was more room to sit inside but the porch is quite nice when weather isn’t too cold.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free, dairy free

I’m a coffee snob. I love nothing better than to linger over a well-brewed cup (or two!) in a cozy café. This place serves the best coffees I have ever had anywhere. The service is excellent. They take the time to get everything right, so if you enjoy baristas noisily slinging equipment around and yelling your name when your corporate mixture of Whatever is ready, you know where else to go! Half Past Moon attracts pleasant, interesting people. The ambience is quirky and charming. In fine weather, a spot on the big front porch is divine. You need to check this place out. It’s inside the prettiest building in town, the yellow Victorian on West Main Street. You can’t miss it.

Half Past Moon is my favorite coffee shop hands down! The owner and employees are so kind and they’re all such incredible baristas.Unlike the big chain coffee shops, my coffee order is consistent and perfect every time (never worrying if it’s gonna be too sweet, too much milk, etc.). They even make their syrups in house, which I appreciate not having all of the extra additives. In addition to the good coffee, they also have a good selection of bakery items. Having celiacs disease, it’s difficult to find GF items when I am out and want a treat, but HPM has got a few great choices (muffins, scones, etc).Couldn’t recommend this local coffee shop more. Check out HPM if you’re coming through marshall and are looking for a yummy latte and a good vibe!Dietary restrictions: Celiacs disease

What a lovely experience this was for me and my baby!I first had to use the bathroom, and it was super refreshing not to be told I had to buy something there before using the bathroom (even though I definitely was going to buy something!) The cute bathroom was more spacious than I thought it would be, and well maintained. The ambiance of the coffee shop is so cozy, and the shop owner was super laid back and sweet, apologizing that there was no changing table in the bathroom. When I told her my dietary restrictions, she recommended the spring flower tea (hibiscus, cherries, etc) with almond milk and the waffle breakfast sammich, both of which were incredible! I’m coming back next time to get the English muffin breakfast sammich which is (drumroll please) ALSO DAIRY AND GLUTEN FREE!If you want a relaxing atmosphere with more than one option for your dietary restrictions, check this out :)Dietary restrictions: They have options for people (like me) who are gluten-free AND dairy-free!

Just what you want from a local coffee shop. A comfortable place with good coffee and a nice environment. I got a macchiato and a cold brew, with the intention of saving the cold brew for later. I'm struggling not to drink both instantly. They have beans for sale as well as. Also, they have a parking lot! I parked in the street and walked there, but there was plenty of room to park.Parking: Parking lot and on street parking available

Need to update their hours. Says they are open on mondays but I drove all the way here and they're closed

Delicious and high quality coffee! The shop is adorable. Interesting seasonal flavors available. I tried the lavender honey pound cake which was amazing. Drinks were affordable, staff was kind and helpful and they have cute boutique stuff for sale inside. Definitely recommend stopping by!

This cafe is AMAZING! The food was delicious and it was some of the best coffee I've had. There weren't a ton of food options, but it was such a creative idea for the sandwich. I would go back and get this exact sandwich and latte every single time. When asked if some of the menu items contain gluten, the barista wasn't sure and didn't make an effort to go check with the chef or the ingredients. To be fair, I didn't ask her to do so and I have a feeling she would have checked if I had asked her. Other than that, she was very kind and I have no complaints! The inside of the cafe was pretty small with only two tables. It was very quiet inside and I felt like I couldn't talk while in there. There were also a couple of tables outside which was lovely but the traffic was a little loud. I would have preferred if there were more tables inside, but it's a small cafe so it makes sense that there isn't! The cafe had some stickers, crystals, and small trinkets for sale which was fun to look through. All in all, this was a wonderful cafe with great food and high quality coffee. I will definitely be back!

Here's where you will find the best coffee anywhere, no kidding. It's from the previous occupant of the space, Cordial Coffee, which roasts their beans in Berryville. You can take home a bag of the beans; the Cabin Retreat is my favorite. The food menu is small but imaginative and everything is as tasty as it is beautifully plated. I especially like their breakfast sammie, jalopeña bagel with herb-dusted cream cheese, the veggie quiche, and the darling little cheesecakes. Seating inside is limited but cozy. The shady front porch is fabulous in nice weather. Everything here is clean and the service really friendly. Did I mention they serve mimosas? Not ordinary, either.

I love this coffee shop! The owner is so welcoming, she greets you by name, remembers how you like your drink and food. My husband won't get a mocha anywhere else. I love the veggie quiche and vanilla latte. This coffe shop is where the locals go. Oh, and there is a lovely porch to sit on too.
