I've often walked past their hot foods section, and their Indian food always looks so good! I decided to try it. I can say with 100% confidence that their Indian food is BOMB! So worth it! The chicken tiki masala was so creamy and tender! I made my own rice at home and it was delightful- 5/5 The potato samosa was the perfect crisp, and the potato and peas were so delicious with the perfect amount of spice! The spice gives it a good kick at the end- 5/5 The chickpeas were flavorful and tasted like what you'd get at a restaurant- 5/5 The Mac and cheese had bigger pasta but a lot of cheese. It is definitely made in house and so delicious- 5/5 The Brussel sprouts were just the perfect amount of saltiness and crunch from the grill. Every bite was perfect! - 5/5 The only thing I wouldn't recommend purchasing was their Jerk Chicken. The meat was very dry and although the flavor was there, it wasn't something I'd buy again. The chicken was very different than the chicken they used for the chicken masala - 2/5 Overall, a great dinner to feed two people! The price is steep though, I got two boxes of food for about $40... so I guess I should've eaten at the seafood spot there instead, but the quality of food, if you choose correctly may be worth the steep pricing. I'd say if you're looking for a quick fill for GOOD INDIAN FOOD, def consider coming to the hot foods at Whole Foods!

Please add recycle bins in your store, especially with the Sports Bar. There is no excuse not to recycle in this day and age.

I love Whole Foods! Today was a little crowded, I came in for a salad the salad bar and get some macaroons for lunch. lines were long but moving. (I really don't like self check out) However one of the items I wanted on my salad was out, and a staff member replaced it right away for me. It's always clean and for the most part the employees are always nice and welcoming. The veggies and lettuce and protein look great today lettuce was crisp. I enjoyed a salad with iceberg , spinach and arugula today. I Will come back! Just know during lunch time it's supper busy.

I really want to like Whole Foods. The challenge I have is that they are inconsistent with their actions and messaging. When they cook with soybean oil and canola oil, they're saying profit margins trump customer health. The science is done; Those oils are not good for humans. Restaurants use them because they can stay on the shelves forever without spoiling. Far better to use olive oil and butter from animals raised in a species-appropriate way in pastures that have not been sprayed with chemicals. Please be brave corporate leaders and make the switch to ingredients that are simple and scientifically deemed healthful.

Well they get 2 stars for having my Blood Orange Surge seltzer. The irony is that this drink is synthetic in some ways going against the creed of Whole Foods or Whole Fools since nothing is really organic or Whole there anymore. Amazon has bought and destroyed the decent everything since their invasion. Now Karen has ruined the Macaroni and Cheese, the hot food bar with nothing but Indian chickpeas and season less food overall since they can't handle the spice of life. This is not the only location either! I have discovered that all of the Whole foods really Amazon Fresh have the same menu! This is truly a corporate Karen BLAND TAKE OVER WITH BIOENGINEERED FOODS FOR SALE WITH TRIPLED THE PRICES! OVERPRICED CRAP! WASTE OF SPACE! WHOLE FOODS DON'T EVEN SELL SEEDED WATERMELONS ANYMORE. THAT IS A SIGN!

The Whole Foods at Fair lakes is nicely remodeled and very organized. I love to go to their Seafood Shack . The food is great , service is great and price is unbeatable. I ordered fried Oysters , grilled salmon Baja style with a side of fries and Caesar salad.

This is by far the best Whole Foods in the DMV area. If you didn't know; now you know Spacious parking lot, fresh produce, hot food bar, in house restaurants/bar, helpful staff... what more can you ask for in your neighborhood market? I'm a weekly customer and every time I come; it's a lovely shopping experience!

This review is based on the availability seeded watermelons that taste way better than seedless! Just throw all of the seedless away! Seeded melons are sweeter like they should be! I was beyond joyful to find these melons! They shouldn't be this difficult to find so Whole Foods for the win!!

This is one of the largest Whole Foods we've been to and it has the most amenities! There's multiple hot food and restaurants within it. We tried the seafood bar and loved it! It was really affordable considering it's Whole Foods. Apparently they have different specials and when we went it was mussels with white wine which was yummy!

This is my first time eating at the bistro/bar and my first 1 star meal review. It was terrible. Everything was dry and over cooked. The cauliflower bites were burnt and greasy, the wings were tiny, dry, and had no flavor/ seasoning on them. I also ordered the pork tacos and the meat was dry and over cooked in them, as well. I didn't even eat 1/2 of the pork as it was dry/crispy and gross. I am so disappointed we wasted $30 for this meal. I don't think I will eat from there again. I agree with another review that the hot bar food looks unappetizing and that is what led me to try the bar/bistro. We have eaten at the fish bar before and it was delicious.

Fantastic grocery store! I usually go to Wegman's - because there is one about 3 miles from my house - and it's a bit of a haul to visit a Whole Foods. but it's fun to visit one every so often. The Fair Lakes location also has an Amazon return counter - for specific returns and such.#WholeFoodsMarket

Overall, I love Whole Foods. I am a loyal shopper and I appreciate the fresh produce and local goodies you can find here. The staff is always super helpful and I typically find everything I need here. This review is solely on the hot bar, bistro area and salad bar. In my review I only have photos of the hot bar but the quality of the bistro bar, salad and hot bar has completely gone down hill. Everything looks unappetizing, stale and not fresh. Very little variety as well. I come 3-5 times a week and I always see meat loaf, Indian curry, Mac and cheese, rice and very dried out wings. Same with the bistro area- dried out salmon, chicken and beef along with stale sides. The salads don't look fresh. Everything is wilted or has a weird film. Any frequent shopper knows the salad bar, bistro bar and hot bar are not cheap. At this price point I expect WAY better from Whole Foods. Hopefully they work on this because it's not appealing AT ALL.

the ramen bar which was good is now closed. the seafood bar is good but doesn't open till 11:30 for lunch. The prepared foods are decent but very pricey for what you get. For example my small piece of prime rib I'm two sides was $23 and of course I got to eat it at sitting at a table out front using plastics Ware next to the parking lot. For that price I could have gone to Fairfax town center and ate at any number of restaurants

I love this store BUT their bakery is a disgrace!!! Everything that is packed in their containers is up to 5-6 days OLD!!! Most bakeries will give you day-old at a discount. I went to the counter and asked the girl if they had anything under 5 to 6 days old and she went and looked and came back and said no!! So don't buy the baked goods- I got home with some croissants and the next morning they're not edible!
