“We arrived to a nice ample parking lot at 5pm on a Tuesday. We walked inside and were seated immediately and quickly approached for drink orders. The menu has some good craft beer and allocated bourbon options. We ordered the tripping animals and old bust head ipa's which were great. Our waitress was super attentive making sure to get the kids order in first while we were still deciding. We landed on the burnt ends, carnitas nachos, and cowboy burrito. Kids got grilled cheese and Fries which came out fresh and hot. Everything was like 6 or 7 out of 10. Good food, nothing that will blow your mind. But any bit that the food lacks, the service makes up for it. I will also note that the restaurant is well decorated and very clean! Overall, was one of the better experiences at a restaurant that I have had I a while!“

“SHOUT OUT TO JONAH !! I did a review on him 6 months ago. We had a family of 11 to come in. We were very loud and probably not the best behaved people. I had just moved my Mother here from Wilmington NC. We were all celebrating her move. I actually felt bad for who was going to take care of us. They moved us to the very back of the restaurant. They had to close the door because we were to loud. A young guy showed up and I was worried for him. I said oh my gosh he looks like Austin Butler who played Elvis. He said he gets that a lot. Jonah was absolutely a wonderful Waiter. He was very humble and did an amazing job taking care of us. He literally could handle all of us . The food was delicious and we couldn’t be more happy. We absolutely adored Jonah. I honestly still don’t understand how he took care of 11 people. He never told us to be quiet Orr say you are to loud. He just excepted us the way we’re. I appreciate that. We asked him alot of questions about himself. He was delightful. I was a Flight Attendant for 17 years and I can appreciate very good outstanding service. I told him when we come back I am asking for you. The next time we went it was just my mom and I and I had lost my LV purse. And he helped me go outside because that day a big truck dumped alot of garbage in your parking lot. Jonah we thought maybe they took my purse. On his time he tried finding my purse. I appreciate that. Then we went again tonight. I didn’t think he was there so I didn’t ask. When I saw him I immediately grabbed his attention. I told him, I didn’t think you were there so I didn’t ask. He said that’s ok don’t worry about that. He is definitely a blessing to have there. We appreciate everything he does. The good and wait staff is amazing…my only complaint was the bartender on duty..he was EXTREMELY rude to his teammates and made myself and several other guest uncomfortable with his attitude and yelling. The Pyscho Girl Scout couldn't be beat with Marshmallow and Peanut Butter topping a fresh cooked donut. Definitely a local hangout with plenty of JMU students packing the place on a Saturday afternoon. Helped seal the deal on kid's college visit (at least for us parents!)“

Once shopping was over and hunger set in, we made our way to Cuban Burger in Harrisonburg. I must say, what a find! The staff was so receptive and kind! Our waitress took our order, of 1 appetizer of Empanadas and celantro dipping sauce! Wow! These were outstanding! My sister had the Buenos Dias burger and fries. I had The Big Maka and fries! The burgers were so juicy and loaded with flavor! The 80% beef and 20% pork really was a special kicker in flavor!!! We both just loved the place and thr food! “We decided to have Heritage Bakery create our wedding cake for our wedding day. The bakery was communicative during our planning process, allowed us to try some flavors that weren't on a pre-selected list, and delivered everything on time. The wedding cake, which was a 2-tiered (10"/8") cake adorned with flowers, was stunning and we ordered several sheet cakes for service as well. I'm not much of a cake person myself, but even I absolutely devoured this cake. We ordered both a vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream frosting (which is much more flavorful than it sounds) and an apple spice cake with a vanilla buttercream frosting. The apple spice cake had pieces of apple in the cake, a wonderful spiced flavor, and beautiful dried apple slices on top of the sheet cake slices. All cakes were super moist and delicious! Again different restaurants because still delicious.The curry was definitely something different for my husband as he's not one to try "gamey" meat. He got lamb and loved it. Parking was a tad difficult, especially depending on what time you go, so be sure to give yourselves time to walk from the parking lots to the building. We tried the coconut and the blueberry basil margaritas, both of which were wonderful. We each tried three different tacos to get a few unique flavors. Unfortunately, we weren't overly impressed with the tacos. They were small and overpriced for the amount that you get. The seasoning wasn't quite up to par. However, there is a lot of potential in the concept, and the combinations sound great together (I love trying unique flavors). Maybe the chef was feeling off the day we went, so I am giving 4 stars for the tasty margaritas and potential for great unique tacos.“

There is no elevator to the second level, but fortunately there were first floor rooms available. “Definitely a place I'll be coming back to. We ordered a 20in meat lovers pizza with cheese breadsticks and cheese and bacon fries. The pizza was pretty good and like I said 20 inches so it was huge. I was a fan of them having Canadian bacon and ham which most places don't offer. While the pizza was good the star of the show was their secret sauce which tasted like a mix of blue cheese and ranch. It was zesty and flavorful. The cheese breadsticks were some of if not the best I've ever had and a must try. The bacon cheese fries were good too but I was not a fan of them being put on aluminum foil cause most of the cheese stuck on the foil but other than that it was a truly excellent experience and I recommend giving them a try.“
