This was my first visit to Capri despite living in McLean for several years. It is a traditional white tablecloth restaurant and I was a bit hesitant to try it, but the food was wonderful. My rack of lamb was cooked just the way I requested and was not at all fatty/greasy as some lamb can be. The dark gravy was excellent as were the accompanying vegetables and crispy small roasted potato wedges. The other members of my party had Italian dishes which they were very happy with. Desserts - spumoni encased in chocolate and tiramisu - were excellent. We will definitely be back.

Capri never disappoints, the food is delicious. My favorite is the Carbonara. They have a wonderful wine selection. The ambience is just right and the service exceptional. We enjoy dining at Capri.

Food is always solid, especially seafood or pasta. Drinks delivered as ordered and icy cold. In the mood to really talk with your dinner guests? It is quiet! Even when packed! A go-to for our entire family.

Overall 4 stars. Some dishes, like the cozze (mussels) appetizer, were a 4.5 to a 5. Almost sublime flavor! Others, like the ravioli aragosta (lobster) were more like a 3.5. Dough was too thick and the sauce was anemic. The service was fine in this casual neighborhood Italian, with slightly elevated prices.

This is a very good restaurant. Very good. The food was fantastic - the veal was well prepared; the fish was fantastic. The service was great - attentive without being a pest. The atmosphere was wonderful. We just happened to go for dinner on a Friday night and we had a wonderful time.

Seated 20 minutes after reserved time...they overbooked. Extremely noisy and crowded. Ordered their “special” New Year's menu appetizer which was not as described. No scallops, small shrimp, and no full calamari...greasy. Also had the Zuppa di Pesce...Same thing...calamari was like eating rubber bands, small shrimp, few clams, mostly mussels The broth was very good. Husband's scallops were good but the pasta was floating in sauce. Disappointing experience.

Excellent service atmosphere and value . Had great grilled shrimp salad and parm and pasta. With great spaghetti's and great sauce. Great cappuccino and sorbet. Great selections and prices for lunch. One our go to restaurants for Italian. Only wish had gazpacho with crab all the time ?

Wheelchair accessibility: Restaurant is on 2nd floor; there is an elevator for the shops, but it does break occasionally.MIL with walker was able to maneuver through doors (glass foyer entry to block wind?), but might be harder with wheelchair to make tight turns.
This restaurant’s food was amazing. From appetizer to dessert, everything was exceptional. My main meal was the gnocchi and it was absolutely the perfect consistency. The service was spot on and the atmosphere was peaceful yet full of joy. I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a good place to eat. I will definitely be back.

My friend and I enjoyed a very pleasant evening! Started with a particularly nice Cosmo.and a perfect burrata appetizer. Veal was excellent with a generous vegetable serving which i thoroughly enjoyed and love the Limoncello desert. Capri never disappoints. Our service was nicely timed and well served. This is a favorite restaurant of mine. This is a classy Italian restaurant serving fine food. And a plus is the easy parking.

Probably the best restaurant in the area. We were new to DC and lived in Md and were recommended to Capri by long time residents. The service and atmosphere were top notch and the food was homemade and delicious. However Md to Va was a trip and we wanted to stay closer to home. We tried many many restaurants closer to us but, after almost a year, of ok to disappointing dinners we returned to Capri because of the quality food and the friendly warm service. The white tablecloths are nice too. I highly recommend Ristorante Capri- you will not be disappointed.

I love the food at Capri. Service is always professional and so wonderful. I was meeting with four friends, and we had a lot to catch up on. Three quarters of the restaurant was taken up by a very large party. It was extremely loud. We could not converse. I should have been informed when (or after) I made the reservation that there was a very large party scheduled. It ruined our time together.
