Their poke bowls are basically all rice. Little protein, very disappointing.

Unbelievably bad sushi. Rice is mushy and fish is paper thin. I don’t think these people know what kind of bad rep. they are creating for the Whole Foods brand.

Their ramen is SO amazing. I usually get the veggie ramen bowl, I am addicted! Also, the staff is always super friendly!

I dnt think ill ever order foods from them ever again. New roll that supposed to not have any spicy already had a sauce, quality was really bad, and the rolls were keep breaking lol waste of money.

I don't know the reason, but I was waiting in the order window at least for 10mins and the staff just ignored me. Maybe he didn't want a customer?

Very salty broth for $13 - head over to Hokkaido Ramen Santouka across the street! I wish the broth was less salty for the chewy noodles to soak it up. The underwhelming toppings of cabbage, bean sprouts, carrots, scallions with scant pieces of seaweed and mushrooms didn't really elevate the flavor. The marinated soft boiled egg and sweet mushrooms were the best part! I threw in the towel 1/2 way through (I hate wasting food!). Hokkaido Ramen Santouka has a much larger selection of ramen with creamier broth, their Veggie Ramen with tofu and loaded with veggies is hearty and bursting with flavor!

Came here about a year ago during lunch when it first opened (located inside the Whole Foods). The ramen was decent, but nothing worth noting (if it was great, I would have remembered and Yelp'd it right away). Prices were OK. but it is McLean area.. rich and expensive. Come here if you want a quick ramen fix with no one to tip or bother you while you eat. But don't expect Ippudo (famous NYC/Japan ramen joint) quality or flavor.

I Absolutely love this place. Great menu option and Their Sushi is AMAZING.

The ramen was tasty worth four stars. However, as a fast food it's too expensive. $13 for a tiny bowl not enough for a meal and it had little toppings.

Located inside Whole Foods Market. Limited vegan selections, hence the low marks. Seating is available within the area.

I actually really like this place. I've only had the poke but I've had it 3-4 times. I've also had the bao buns which are really good too. I wish the poke had more options for customization like you would find at other poke places but I recognize this is not solely a poke joint. The staff is friendly and even during peak lunch hours during the work day, the kitchen churns out food quickly. This is a good place to stop in quickly for lunch and then Whole Foods environment is nice.

I regularly shop at this Whole Foods and have had the Spicy Miso Ramen 3 times. Now, I wouldn't say it's THAT bad, but it's definitely subpar in quality compared to legit B&M ramen shops. Perhaps this might be asking too much--considering it's a tiny Whole Foods food court--but for $13, at the minimum, I would ideally want a real bowl with real utensils (spoon, chopstick)--not a super cheap disposable bowl/spoon and cheap wooden takeout chopsticks. Although, taking into account the size of the shop/operation, as well as the "premier" Tysons location at The Boro, I sorta understand why they chose to go w disposable goods; however, having that said, I really wish the pricing was closer to $10 rather than $13. It's really just a principle thing for me... And the real reason I keep coming back is bc of convenience, as well as the fear of trying something new/disappointing. If only there were better options at this food court... Better up your quality and/or drop prices if you're looking to survive when Hokkaido Santouka Ramen hits The Boro!

The ramen was actually pretty decent. But im too disgusted by the fact they served me raw chicken! I order the bao combo, one shrimp and one chicken. Shrimp bao was okay, minced shrimp light fried. But raw the chicken?!?! When i showed them, they seem not that worried, said sorry and offered to cook me another one. Do i want another raw chicken piece. Would have been happier with my money back but ill prolly get sick later. Waiting while my stomach churns. #rawchicken #genjiwholefoodstysons #notcomingback #genjiramen #genjiizakaya
