If you're looking for a nice eatery that's near shopping and want to take a moment to sit, this is a nice tucked away spot. Nordy's recently opened FULL bar with 6 seats!! There's a TV, Happy Hour and tables. There is only one other Cafe with full bar in NYC. The menu includes a great list of alcoholic and non- alcoholic choices to enjoy with your snack or meal. Entry is from the luggage area on the first floor or the mall. One suggestion would be to add frosted panels adjacent to the Department store merchandise. I, personally, don't prefer drinking and having conversations near the children's department. + outlets under the counter + purse hooks + TV + 6 bar seats, plenty of tables and lounge chairs + near garage + restroom closeby + dedicated bartender to tending only the bar customers - seating too close to the floor merchandise - lacks privacy - next to the children's section

The service is always wonderful at a Nordstrom marketplace cafe. Food is never inedible, but both our pasta dishes were so overcooked, we were eating soggy fall apart pasta. Again, taste was good, everything else good. Whoever is cooking the pasta needs to remove it way way earlier. Also, looks like they renovated the entry area of the cafe - much more modern, light and airy. Unfortunately the interior larger seating area (where it counts) still looks and feels like Grandma's house.

I absolutely love Nordstrom cafe! Their food is very tasty and they have great service. I definitely recommend the shrimp and arugula salad if you are looking to eat something a little healthier, or the salmon entree. They also have a variety of delicious looking desserts to choose from, my favorite is the creme brûlée. Before ordering, ask them for the bread rolls- they are some of my favorite when it comes to complimentary bread. My only complaint would be that the food is pretty pricey. If you ever find yourself in Nordstrom, you should stop by here!

Order at the counter and someone delivers your food. I have loved Nordstrom Cafe for over 20 years so the nostalgia gets to me. The food is good, but it is pretty pricey for what you get. However, it will always be one of my go-to places at Tysons.

Every time I come to this particular Nordstrom Cafe, the service is awful. The servers don’t seem interested in making sure my needs are met and don’t bother to check our table often. Even when it’s not busy in here, I never get any better service. Please train the servers better!

Having dined at Nordstrom Cafe very regularly during the 90's (albeit in Bethesda), my dining companion and I had not been to one for a couple decades. With a convenient opportunity to give it a try and the menu looking attractive, we decided to give it a try. After 3 stellar visits, we have been totally won over by the Marketplace Cafe at Nordstrom-Tysons Corner Center for its outstanding quality of food (homemade pastas, wild salmon and Pacific shrimp, organic berries) executed consistently with harmony by Chef Antonio Harris, exceptional service led by Manuel as well as understated but inviting ambiance of natural light, quality furniture, and fresh air (spacious, too)! On our 3 visits, we ordered the following: SPICY SHRIMP POMODORO PASTA (Chitarra twice, Spaghetti once) w/ GRAPE TOMATOES, PARMESAN, BABY SPINACH + Flavorful and comfort food (for us) with a classy touch, this dish was so outstanding that we ordered it on ALL 3 VISITS! The shrimp and pasta were at optimal doneness, the tomato sauce at ideal saltiness, and the overall composition a delight for the taste buds and eyes as well! BRAISED BEEF SANDWICH w/ BLUEBERRY GLAZE, CHEDDAR, ARUGULA, PICKLED RED ONION (seasonal special) + From the quality bread (also noticeable in the complementary ciabatta served with butter) to the herbaceous and sweet sauce, creamy cheese and aioli, to the clean-flavored and evenly-textured beef (no gristle!), this epitomizes this gourmet gem hidden inside its unassuming mall setting! It is like a French Dip with the sauce on the inside but elevated by the pleasantly fruity-sweet accent and bitter balance from the arugula! WILD MUSHROOM PIZZA w/ CARAMELIZED ONIONS, BOURSIN CHEESE, THYME, GARLIC OIL (seasonal special) + The aroma of the mixed mushrooms, herb, and garlic are reminiscent of fancy bistros, prepared with a unique thin-ish crust with an pleasing gradient of texture. Whether you are a vegetarian or a lover of fragrant mushrooms, don't miss out on this winner! TUSCAN WILD SALMON w/ SAFFRON VEGGIE COUSCOUS, BABY SPINACH, PARMESAN, CREAMY GARLIC VINAIGRETTE - While this was our least favorite of the 4 dishes, it was still a fine dish with clean flavors, if a little bland. Regarding the service, the servers are courteous and attentive. Moreover, it is their attention to the little details that elevates the overall quality of experience to head-and-shoulders above most other casual dining. First, for our hot water with lemon, Manuel specially warms up our mugs so that we can enjoy our beverage hot from the beginning and throughout our meal! This apparently small detail is one that can get missed in even luxe dining establishments but ends up making a real difference. Another detail is with the sticks of butter that comes with the bread: they are tempered to be easily spreadable without having to be whipped (we prefer our butter not whipped)! All in all, Marketplace Cafe is a diamond in a hidden alleyway in that it is polished and quality without any roughness but happens to be overlooked. Having experienced and enjoy dining a wide variety of price points, cuisines, and locales, we are so happy to return to an old culinary friend that has grown up and excelled in the essential qualities of food, service, and ambiance without having to necessarily scale up into the fine dining realm. In short, it has earned a place in our increasingly very short list of go-to restaurants!

I was waiting for 20 min for a cap of americano and cream brûlée. In 20 min they brought me a cap of cappuccino and a tiramisu. There was not a lot of people.))

WHOA (tried for first time)...my favorite restaurant by a mile within both Tysons 1 and 2 Malls. Shocking how fresh and delicious the food is in this hidden nook inside the Tyson's 1 Nordstrom (from now on this is the only place I would want to eat here). I got the Spicy Wild Shrimp Pomodoro and it was freakin awesome (flavorful shrimp, cherry tomatoes, pasta, and sauce), cup of homemade tasting tomato soup (I let the cheesy bread soften inside and ate together with spoon), and lemon ricotta cookie for dessert (latter is the only item that didn't blow me away). Service was prompt and friendly (you order at the front register, seat yourself at a table and put your receipt on top, and then they bring your food directly to you as well as clean up afterwards). Photos attached. PS. At the end of the meal they give you complimentary chocolate; nice touch (liked more than cookie).
