What a friendly, comfy place to have breakfast! The cheese blintzes were wonderful, the coffee was rich but not too strong and frequently refilled, and the service was friendly, prompt, and efficient. Oh, did I mention the delicious cheese blintzes??? Great way to start the day!

First time visiting at mid-day on a weekend. Had a delicious sandwich and a cup of coffee - it was a nice place to sit and have a conversation and a bite to eat. Greek diner-ish. Simple but satisfying. Will be back to try some of the Greek dishes.

Food was the definition of mediocre, especially given the price. Got a ribeye steak and cheese and was completely unimpressed. Fries left a lot to be desired in flavor, portion was ok. Service was prompt and friendly, but I definitely felt out of place as the youngest person in there by a wide margin. Not my cup of tea and probably wouldn't go back, but I can understand it's popularity in the area.

Once you go, you will see why the McLean residents from every walk of life keep going year after year.Many say they could refresh the decor - but regulars really don’t seem to care, as they are always packed! Always!Parking: There is plenty of parking in the little strip mall - but the restaurant and other businesses stay busy. So you may not find a space directly in front of the restaurant. But you will always find a space.Kid-friendliness: Both parents and grandparents come here for regular dates with their children and grandchildren. The waiters will learn the names too! Our children love to go back to McLean Diner for an outing when they return to town with their own spouses!
