Got the red bean bing su out of nostalgia. This Shilla location is new but I used to go to other locations growing up. The bing su was good, but I didn't like the peanut butter powder on top (tasted like PB fit from Costco). I think it would have been better to add water to it so that it was a peanut butter drizzle instead of so powdery (like doing the cinnamon challenge). This place is above the McDonald's and Panda Express! Anyway, great tasting pastries but I'd say the snickerdoodle isn't worth 4.50 even though it's still delicious. However, everything else was definitely worth a second visit! My wife and I both thought the chocolate roll was better than the matcha roll.

Excited to see a Shilla location in the mall, I’ve been to the other locations too. I went around 6:30pm on a Wednesday and it wasn’t busy, the self serve breads/treats was limited as expected for end of day. Got a few items, the cookie croissant, strawberry roll slice, almond cookies, and custard bun. The cookie croissant was over hyped because it’s dry either bc it was the end of day or bc it’s a day old croissant repurposed? Stick to the tried and true Asian buns. ...read full review
