“Been going to this restaurant for a long time, The decor is nice and modern, and the staff very attentive. The reason I keep coming back is because of the tempura! Let's face it everyone has their favorite dish, and mine is the Shrimp Tempura. The Panko batter is light flaky. Most other restaurants are like beer batter. And to be honest you do go back to the place that has your favorite dish. Ordered Osaka Box, Dancing salmon, side salad and of course my Shrimp Tempura. All very tasty! “I LOVE the food here. It’s top quality but it’s in a little takeout spot. The food far outshines the seating area. It’s just like your regular old Chinese takeout looking seating area but the sushi! OMG it is fresh and fantastic! The other items on the menu are awesome too but it’s rare to get amazing sushi at a little place like that. The woman who runs it is so nice and accommodating. A really lovely person. “My wife and I were out getting some craft supplies nearby. We could smell the food being cooked from down the parking lot. I wanted to find out what it was, and I was able to pinpoint it this place. I knew it was this place as soon as we walked through the door.We came in right after the lunch crowd was done and were seated right away. We ordered waters and then started to review the menu.This being my first time at this type of cuisine, I wanted to order something new, and something I could not pronounce. When I choose like this, I do not read descriptions of what is in the dish, so I have no expectations on what to expect.I ordered the bulgogi, zucchini fries (seasoned), and my wife ordered the fried chicken strips with coleslaw.When the food came to the table I was pleasantly surprised to see the dish was a large stone bowl, which was piping hot. It kept my food warm the entire time I was eating.The bulgogi was fresh, not just fresh made, but you could tell they used fresh ingrdients. The carrots that were used had a wonderful flavor. The mushrooms were amazing, and the kale was excellent as well. There were other items in this dish, but the freshness of these really spoke to me. I was happy to find a portion of rice hiding under all of this. The sauce that came with it had a little kick to it, but was not so over powering that it took away from the flavors of the fresh ingredients.The zucchini fries were well done, and seasoned well too. They came with some spicy dipping sauce, which has a little more of a kick than the sauce in my other dish, but was perfect, as it did not hit you so hard as to be too much.I was also able to steal a few peices of my wife's chicken, which was amazing, and went well in the bulgogi.They also had a sign about getting free chicken wings if you check in on a specific social media platform. So, I went ahead and did this. This got me 2 free wings, so I decided to try their spicy wings.The spicy wings are hot, but not in the normal burn your face off way. The use of spices and the other flavors in the sauce used make a delayed heat hit you. In addition to this delayed burn, as you eat more of it, it slightly cools the heat, and then builds slowly on the level, but not to an intensity that is not manageable.We have determined that this place hits a special spot in the food world for us, and have put this on our list as a favorite place to go. What is more, I was extremely surprised to learn that this is a larger chain of restaurants, and I look forward to testing the food consistently between locations. I hope to find that they eat like a hole in the wall place, but at all of their locations, as I expect them to keep the same flavor consistency and same level to details in their ingredients.“

“Nice place to get a good variety of Asian dishes, big bowl of Ramens, and cocktails. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive.Unless you like squid, I wouldn’t recommend the Takoyaki from the New Special Menu. None of my kids would eat them. Other than the texture of squid, they were pretty good. Pad Thai was OK, lacked flavor. We enjoyed Sechuan Rice Noodle Soup. Boom Boom Shrimp was very yummy. The sauce of Thai Mussels was too sour for my taste. Overall, the menu was exciting, presentation was nice, but the dishes lacked of their true flavor.“

“I order or sit at Miyabi almost every week. Everything I have ever ordered always tastes and looks amazing in my opinion. Everyone is always friendly and I love how they remember my face now, so whenever I come in they bring me my food instantly when it’s ready. “I live Yoshi Sushi! They have always given me great service and very tasty food. I worked with sushi restaurants for about 10 years and I can say that the quality is great for the price. I always get the Tropical roll, it’s like dessert. The sushi rice is delicious, cooked just right. Nothing worse than sushi with overcooked rice. The foods that come from the kitchen are also great. Shrimp and veggie tempura, hibachi, and yaki soba are among my favorites.“
“Even if you're not particularly a fish person, their other food is absolutely amazing. I almost want to move to RVA so I can have their gyoza and chicken basil thai dish everyday ? we actually went back a second time and tried the chefs choice Sashimi as well and again it did not disappoint in the slightest! Both times, the staff were amazing, incredibly helpful, and accommodating (one visit was with a large group (10) the other was just my boyfriend and I). Very reasonably priced as well! We were seated immediately both times too!“
“I really love Lucky everything is delicious and you get a very good amount of food for your money. The only issue I have is when doing take out. Any time I order a side or a drink it’s always forgotten. It’s been 4 times now over the past year and you would think I’d check. Also sometimes I’m up there a while waiting when the bags are in clear view. I’ve been told they’d prefer take orders not be taken off ledge with a restaurant employee being made aware which is totally legit but you could be left standing up there quite a while.“

“Got lunch while we were in town. The dumplings texture was correct and the perfect temp and taste. I convinced my husband to try the Katsu Kimbap and he really enjoyed it with the FWA sauce! I got the Bulgogi bowl and each ingredient tasted so right. I did not like the donkatsu sauce as it was way too sweet, I ended up stealing some of the FWA which was too good. If you've ever had Korean this hits all the right flavors, if you ever want to try Korean this would be the spot. Portion sizes are well worth what they are charging!“
“This place is next door to Alohahola. Some of the workers here work over there as well. Not sure if both businesses are owned by the same entity. I had the shoyu chicken ramen and soy garlic wings. The soy garlic wings were great and remind me of Tamara Ramen wings however the portion size, price and value at Domoishi is a better deal in my opinion. I will be going here for now on for those type of wings. The ramen was ok. It had corn and looked to be some type of bean mixed in. The chicken was grilled however I prefer the Shoyu ramen at Taka Ramen which is more tasty and traditional. Still a good value at Domoshi though.“
“We were introduced to food from Hunan Cafe while visiting family. We don't live in the area, so while in the area, we made a point to pick up food for dinner and still have leftovers to enjoy. The food is excellent with good portions. I especially like the General Tso Chicken and Roast Pork Egg Foo Young. The wife enjoys the Pepper Steak and Beef Lo Mein. Delicious food.“

“The only place in town that has interesting veggie sushi. I order here all the time. The tots and accompanying sauce are tasty. Tip on tots--better for pickup than delivery bc of the soggy factor, but even after 45 mins in the back of a bike, they're still tasty and I still order them.“
“My boyfriend and I pass here quite often and decided to try out of the blue one night. We entered around 830pm and they closed at 10pm. The meal we received was great. We started with their fresh rolls and each got separate and very different dishes. I tried their milk tea which was amazing and refreshing! This is a must try spot. I suggest go on a week day and at night. The place is quite small inside but cozy. ( if you’d prefer not to wait on a table) Please take time to visit. Parking behind the building.“
“I've been meaning to try this place for a while, and I was absolutely not disappointed. Upon entry, I was stunned by how freaking cute everything was. The walls, the seat cushions, the decor- everything was such a lovely vibe it made me really happy just being in the store. Even their bathrooms are tasteful in design. They also have a photo booth with props and to-go drinks/snacks/meals available for purchase outside of the food they make in store.The receptionist was so sweet and helped me pick out some stuff when I was overwhelmed by the options (always a good thing to have lots of options in my opinion). I ended up getting the okinawa brown sugar boba (lower sweetness level), garlic salmon onigiri, and duck egg musubi.The boba was so soft and squishy (which means it is fresh) and the tea itself was the perfect level of sweetness for me. I absolutely love how we are given the option to have our meals warmed up, and I chose to heat up both. The rice was so fluffy and soft and the filling in the ongiri was flavorful and delicious. The musubi was great as well and the duck egg was different from conventional chicken eggs, but the depth of flavor compliments the rice well. My one recommendation is that they have a bottle of hot sauce for customers to use when in the store.I ended up spending 21 dollars on my meal (plus a few extra dollars for tip). In this economy, it is the norm for food like this to be a little pricey so I'm not complaining as long as the quality and service stay at a high level. Plus the fact that they are using sustainable and ecofriendly cups, utensils, and straws makes the cost more than worth it.All in all, I 100% will be returning here way more than my wallet will want me to, and bringing all my friends and family with me.“
“This is quite possibly the best Chinese restaurant in the Richmond area, if not all of central Virginia. Try the sesame or General Tso's chicken. Excellent decor, great service and a bar that serves terrific cocktails. Best of all, the prices honestly can't be beat. I live in downtown Richmond and do my grocery shopping in Mechanicsville just so I can have lunch here.“
