Been going to this restaurant for a long time, The decor is nice and modern, and the staff very attentive. The reason I keep coming back is because of the tempura! Let's face it everyone has their favorite dish, and mine is the Shrimp Tempura. The Panko batter is light flaky. Most other restaurants are like beer batter. And to be honest you do go back to the place that has your favorite dish. Ordered Osaka Box, Dancing salmon, side salad and of course my Shrimp Tempura. All very tasty! You will never be disappointed. Will always be loyal customer

They are no longer open for dine in at lunch. Why? That really is missing out on being a sushi restaurant. Are we to eat it in our cars and out of plastic dishware? Or go home? If I want that, I can grab that stuff at Kroger and Publix. Ambiance and being able to get out of the office made you special enough to visit. If I want good sushi take out there are many other options in town.

The sushi is good and fresh. My son and I like to go in. I do often feel like our order isn't important, and we should get out of the way for real customers. I don't think they enjoy children. Once, when they were busy, I was told "no seats" instead of being given a wait time. I still go because I like the food and the location is good. I know what to expect.

Decent sushi for Mechanicsville. A bit pricey but typical sushi is. The odd thing in the atmosphere. It's next to a Subway so smells like baked bread which is an odd combination with the sushi.
This was my first visit to Bell Hut. Absolutely the best red curry that I have ever had! Amazing service. Cozy.

Sushi did not seem fresh. Definitely no atmosphere and owners/ server not very friendly. Expensive for a shrimp dinner. Wanted to support local but will not return. Sorry!

A friend and I had dinner here around 4pm. Small eatery but it was empty and we had pick of where we wanted to sit. Service was prompt and good. We had Crab Rangoons to start. Very fresh and light. Presented nicely too! We split three specialty rolls: Reindeer Roll, Valentine Roll, and Summer Blossom Roll. Served on nice stone platter. All 3 were fresh and delicious, presented well. The favorite was the Valentine Roll. Has a lot going on with tempura shrimp, cream cheese, fresh jalapeno, and other things but very nice texture and the flavors don't overwhelm. Reindeer Roll was Delicious with white fish and lemon peel topper. Balanced out the umami very well. Summer Blossom was good, but just not a favorite on the palate. 3 specialty rolls and an app ran $50, which is reasonable for good sushi. Overall a quality spot to eat.

Ordered a tuna avocado roll, and without requesting it... the genius's at Bell hut deep fried the tuna in my tuna avocado roll. Honestly, I was so shocked, I couldn't even comprehend the situation, so I tossed it in the trash. Needless to say, I won't ever be going back!
