Some of the best food I’ve had in a long time. We ordered calamari and the blue crab dip. Both were awesome. I got the fish&chips and it was very good. Service was great and nice ambience.Parking sucks but hey it’s Middleburg.Highly recommend.

I went here with my nephews and brother-in-law. It was such a delicious choice for a seafood lover. We ordered form the starter menu and oysters platters. I would go back again and try the main menu next time.

We’ve been coming every now and then and unfortunately the service seems to be getting worse and worse. Thought it was a nice place to have a date away from kids but we would have to flag down the waiter for service but then were pushed out with the check even though the restaurant had plenty of open seats, no one waiting, and it was 2 hours before close.

This restaurant is one of the few options available around Middleburg, but it is a quality option. The food that we tried was very good and tasty. Seafood seems fresh. The service is good and the atmosphere is quite fine.Parking: Plenty of parking around the town.

My friend and I visited The Oyster Bar in Middleburg, VA. We LOVED our dinner and cocktails. We both ordered salads, and we were very impressed by the different flavors and textures of the salads. I ordered the grilled salmon salad and my friend ordered the marinated Thai steak salad. The Mule cocktail was delicious with fresh lime and ginger . I highly recommend this restaurant for some amazing food and a fun and lively atmosphere.

Hands down one of the best meals I've ever had — and at 1:30 on a Monday, no less. The Tuna Taco and Brussel Sprout Salad were what put it over the top!

I have loved everything I have ordered at KSOB, both in Middleburg and Leesburg. Owner Rick Allison is Culinary Institute of America trained, and it shows. Every dish is exceptionally good. As an ex-pat Brit, I can say that the fish and chips are the best I have ever had. That goes for the crunchy fish and the fries. Plus, the coleslaw lightly flavored with fresh tarragon is divine. It's worth asking for a take-out. Then there's the crispy calamari on ginger lobster sauce. Total delish. I could go on but suggest you go to enjoy the terrific menu.

Cute place with indoor and outdoor seating options. Restaurant is a bit small inside and tables are close together. Can get very loud on the weekends inside. Ribeye entree is decent crab cake entree is ok didn't like montery chicken salad. The one thing they had on the menu that was REALLY good was guacamole with blue crab and chips (appetizer) it's not currently on the menu - maybe only available during summer months.

The food was good. We had oysters, which were small, and two entrées. Everything tasted good, no complaints, just nothing to praise either. The bar is an entirely different story... fist drink was a gimlet, they offered gin or vodka - we got one of each. They both came out with sweet whipped cream on top. After that, my date moved on to beer, but I decided to try the Sangria. It is pre-made and poured over ice when ordered. That Sangria was sweeter (and thicker) than any kool-aid I've ever had in my life. Something in the flavor of the drink reminded me of cough syrup, so maybe there was sweetened cherry or grape juice in it. Fortunately, my glass was served with about an inch of space at the top, so I asked for it to be topped off with club soda. That helped, but I would like to warn any potential diners to stick with beer or wine - do not order from the cocktail menu.

We went in for brunch and were asked to give our name and cell number for a text in about 40 minutes as we were told it was difficult to seat a party of two.. Watched multiple people leave the restaurant and still no text that it was our turn. We went elsewhere

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE My husband has a severe gluten allergy, we made them aware of this NUMEROUS times . He ordered a burger on Gluten free bread and when the food came out we again confirmed it was gluten free , after it was completely consumed we asked the brand of the bun and they then told us it was Pepperidge Farms bun which is NOT gluten free. They then didn't even make it right - offered to take the 15 dollar burger off the 700 dollar bill after they fed my husband something he is allergic to. The general manager was a complete jerk about the entire situation , walked away mid conversation because he didn't want to "deal with it". I just was completely amazed by the lack of professionalism . He said he talked to the owner and that was all the owner said to do to help the situation. I am writing this review in hopes that anyone with an allergy reads this and is extremely cautious . It is important to take allergies extremely serious and they just don't. Very, very unfortunate.
