Verseau is wonderful! Happy hour deals are great. Really enjoyed the turtle cheesecake and spinach and artichoke savory cheesecake. Petite charcuterie is the perfect size for 2 people. Loved all the customizations you get to choose.

Amazing food, and the service is always nice as long as it’s not the owner who is serving you. Owner was rude multiple times. One time I spoke and she didn’t say anything. On another occasion the grapes she gave me had brown spots on them and I asked if I could switch them out for fresher ones and she got an attitude and told me that it wasn’t anything wrong with those grapes and then showed another customer the grapes and said, “See”, causing a seen. I was also the only black person in the store during this incident so it was very uncomfortable and felt intentional as she showed the white lady the grapes with other white ladies waiting behind me to be served. Also, they switch out the bread and grapes, but didn’t mention that when they first opened. So, I would go in thinking I’m getting the Cara Cara oranges and would receive another type of orange and I said something one time because the oranges I received had a different taste that I didn’t like. They should have on their menu that bread and fruit types get switched out often. Anyways, the owner told me that she wasn’t going to keep switching out stuff for me and as a paying customer who was going every single week giving her business I thought she would be more polite and take time to explain the switch out, but her employee explained it instead. I never went back after that and never will. You can have the best food, but if your service sucks then that still makes bad business.Update: In response to the owner since Google doesn’t allow you to reply to their response; these are facts and not allegations. As I stated in my original comment, you guys switched out bread and fruit and didn’t notify your customers. I never complained about the color. I just asked for a different type of bread which was sourdough (the bread you served me the first couple of times before you switched). So yes, if I had a Cara Cara orange the first 4 times then I am expecting that same type of orange and same with the bread. Don’t try to gaslight me! You stated these “allegations” were false, but basically stating that the incident happened except now since the world can see it you’re trying to spin your own narrative. I’ve never had an attitude and definitely never demanded anything whenever I came in there until that day where you made a scene. I also didn’t interrupt any customer as I was waiting for you to finish up with her, but then you asked me what did I need. I also can assure you that if I go to any restaurant in the city they won’t treat me how you did just because I wanted fresher grapes. People in this city know me and they know I won’t just post anything let alone online. & Just to clarify, to whomever reads this review…that day I spoke to her she looked right at me and then turned her head. Others have told me that they felt dismissed by her as well. I am the only one making the review though because I have time today. Instead of taking ownership for any of the 1/2 star comments you receive, you are being dismissive, sarcastic and aggressive and thats going to cost you business. I am not going back and fourth with a business whom I was helping. Have a nice day!

We visited tonight as we recently discovered how relaxed and inviting Stony Point is. We enjoyed a charcuterie board and drinks and especially the friendly staff. As our dog was watching from the door, they offered to deliver our food outside, then went back for a carafe of water for us. Delicious food and outstanding service, next time we’ll be trying the cheesecake and coffees too.

On Friday my daughter and I had a package to pick up and you could smell the aroma as soon as you turned to walk in the mall from customer service to seeing we were first timers and making suggestions to the lovely ladies that made our drinks 5 stars from the time we opened the door until it closed behind us beautifully done ladies

Verseau is my favorite spot in Stony Point! Everything on their menu is to die for, and I am obsessed with their cheesecakes and coffee. The staff are welcoming and friendly, and many of their products are sourced locally/homemade. Definitely check Verseau out if you haven’t already. You won’t be disappointed :)

I really wanted to support a small business, but I am unable to do that in this instance. Very disappointing. I got two different cheesecake flavors and neither was good. One of them actually made me sick.

This is a delightful little French style bistro. The very friendly owner waited on me while I was there. She has quite the culinary background. During my visit, I had a couple of the mini savory cheesecakes and a mini desert cheesecake. They were mouthwatering and tasty. Offerings included unexpected use of ingredients that I couldn't wait to try. She made me a hot honey lavender latte that was rich and decadent. I love this place for the overall quality and the ambience. I wish the menu included small sandwiches--like tea sandwiches to compliment the cheesecakes and charcuterie board would make for a perfect light lunch. They also have a nice selection of unique teas, gourmet coffee creations and wine. This is the perfect, quaint place to celebrate any kind of special occasions, or even if you just want to pop in to grab a cup of coffee. Located midpoint between Saks Fifth Avenue and Dillards in Stony Point Fashion Park.

Expensive and pretty good ... cost does not equal the experience.
