Tried to come up 10 min beforethey close and all of the doors were locked. I was gonna buy s game card at the tuesday discounted price. An employee looked at me and pretended he did not see me. I get it they thought i was going to hold them up.

The prices are way higher than I remember them being for bowling.

They are not very nice nor do they care about people with physical difficulties or disabilities! They didn't not show compassion or help me find a way around not being allowed to use the elevator! I'm extremely and highly upset. I could not join my family for an event due to not being allowed to use the elevator. Never again spending my money here.

I always enjoy coming here. Love the atmosphere. Love the restaurant and the live music on Friday and Saturday night. Highly recommended.

Neat place! Very fun and entertaining for families or friends to gather. Not just bowling but a nice arcade area, as well. The downside for us is that the bowling lanes we used were having issues that didn't quite get fixed while we were there and one of the arcade machines wasn't working well either. But otherwise, it was a lot of fun to hang out there. :)

This is a fun place to just hang out and eat typical bar fare - but if you're planning on going for a well-maintained bowling alley, I would go elsewhere. We were on the upstairs lanes and had to move lanes because the first one didn't work well, the machines also kept missing our scores. The plus was - the chicken wings are decent taste. They had the right cook and the dry rub was well seasoned. They still have their QR codes around from the pandemic but ordering on those is difficult if you're like me and want to adjust menu items. I prefer ordering from the wait staff personally! Overall, a good hangout but not for bowling.

2024 review. Went to Uptown Alley today as it was Spring break for the kids. They told us there was a special for 2hrs of bowling and unlimited arcade so we jumped at that opportunity. We played 2 games of bowling and then hit the arcade.....Unfortunately the unlimited arcade was only until 4pm, which no one told us, and we didn't hit the arcade till 4:09. Staff just shrugged and said there was nothing they could do.We bought a game card so the kids could play a few games but after pumping $10 of credits into Halo, the game wouldn't work. It's unfortunate that this place is turning into another run down arcade with staff that doesn't support customer satisfaction.2018 review. Fun place, not your average bowling alley. Nice club like environment upstairs with dance floor, pool tables and high end bowling

Called ahead a few weeks in advanced to join waitlist. The ladies over the phone were very accommodating with changes, ensuring we could have two lanes together at the requested day and time. I was really hopeful that everything would go well. Received conflicting text messages about the time which confused some of our party but we were flexible to wait until some lane’s reopened for us and everyone showed. The guys at checkout didn’t seem to want to negotiate around our time change. They made us wait for everyone to show to be able to get our lanes and shoes. We also were capped on the system as to the bowlers we could add from our end. While waiting for our lanes we went to the bar area downstairs to order some drinks and food. No one greeted us but was told by the bartender to sit down at a table and someone would be out to assist us. What really happened.. No one ever came to bring us waters or anything. We ordered using the scan code and the food arrived before our drinks. Weird! There were plenty of servers standing around even managers back and forth and we were yet to be acknowledged by anyone because they were too busy chilling and conversing amongst themselves. Very unprofessional. The plates were dirty, my drink came out incorrectly and the wings were just okay/kind of salty, in my opinion. Don’t think I will ever sit in the bar area again to eat but just wait to be served in the lanes which seemed more efficient for others in our party. We had a really fun time bowling with our group. The system is a little outdated so it will skip people at times and not track your score adequately. Overall we would come back as this is the most modern and clean bowling alley around Richmond that doesn’t have that weird old bowling alley smell.

First of all, they tried to overcharge us for our games. Secondly, the thing that picks up the pins after you bowl kept dropping them and your score would be affected. We kept hitting the service button but the only person that asked if we needed help was our waitress, who said she's call for a technician (who never came). We continued to bowl but the same thing kept happening, so we asked to move to a different lane. That lane change was of no help as it did the same thing. We gave up on getting any help at that point. Totally disappointed!

Aways a great experience for all demographics, with a great arcade and event space. There is always Midweek specials and even karaoke, always a fun experience for all age groups. In the end it's a premium bowling alley experience, and I have to admit the menu is like decent bar food. Expect to spend alot at the arcade as games aren't cheap.

I’ve been here quite a few times over the years. From work functions to birthday parties. Always a great time. Food is great and served in a pretty decent time frame. Drinks are always cold. Arcade is so so. It could be spread out a bit more and there could be someone out wiping down the games every so often with some sanitizer. All in all I really have a great time when I’m at uptown alley
