The food is more catered toward Americans. I found some of the taste a bit bland. The owner was very helpful.

The recommendations were amazing but in all honesty we ate there one night and came back the very next day that the food was so good!

I highly recommend this restaurant! I recently and for the first time I ordered food from them for a special gathering for my church at my home. My wife, son, I and the entire church people and friends loved the food. Everybody enjoyed the authentic taste and aroma of each and every food item. Everyone is till talking about the food and I hope they will keep talking about it forever. I got Amirtha on my phone as my favorite food place. Great restaurant! Great people!! Very customer friendly!!! Don't miss eating at Amirtha. Don't miss their smiling faces and friendliness!!!

Their curry dishes are awesome! We had the Malai Kofta (veggie dumplings in curried cashew paste cream sauce)…and Malabar Fish Curry in a creamy coconut milk sauce (pic attached). We chose mild, but you can get as spicy as you want. We will return. You won’t be disappointed!

The strong aroma hit us as soon as we entered, a distinct characteristic of Indian spices that might not suit everyone. However, the restaurant itself was clean and inviting, which puts me at ease. Cleanliness is a priority for me when dining out.The food was fantastic! Everything tasted fresh but not very flavorful, with generous portions that left me with leftovers. My husband thought it could have been spicier, but for me, it was delicious. If you're looking for a decent and fresh Indian food in a clean environment, this place is a great choice, though keep the spice level in mind!

I wanted to love this place. All the curry was absolutely delicious but the portion sizes were laughable. I thought there might have been a mistake. Maybe they messed up? but for $15.. seemed very skimpy. The naan was just awful. So tough and had a weird taste. It had definitely been sitting around all day. I am so disappointed.

4.3⭐️I thought this place was great! We went in knowing we wanted to share everything we got. When we sat down the waiter gave us each a bottle of water, it wasn’t cold and that’s honestly my only complaint about this place. He also gave each of us a small sample cup of the masala chai which was amazing. As an appetizer we got Fried Momos (vegetarian), my husband ordered the Vindaloo Curry w/lamb (spice level 3), I ordered the Shrimp Biryani (spice level 3), and we got Butter naan on the side. We ordered the Mango Lassi to go. The food was great. I do handle spice better than my husband does, but spice level 3 was a little spicier than we thought. My husband was sweating ? so I only took 1 sip of my water and let him have mine. The food was delicious. The portions are big. If you can’t handle spice I recommend going with level 1, or 2 if you’re feeling spicy ? the Mango lassi is just a drinkable mango yogurt. I wish that was colder as well, but it was good. The service was okay, we only spoke to the waiter when we ordered, when he brought the food, and when we paid. He didn’t check on us while eating, but I was actually okay with that, we didn’t need anything. You also pay at the counter, they don’t bring your check to the table, which I like as well. Overall it was a great meal, and I highly recommend Amirtha to anyone looking for good food!

I ordered from here because I saw good reviews but I did not like the food. I got shrimp biryani and it was flavorless. Even with the sauces it comes with it just made it spicier but still flavorless. And then the biryani came with 6 or 7 of those small shrimp. I paid $17 for this. Really wasted my money. The mango lassi was good and that’s why I gave it two stars

Absolutely loved the atmosphere and the food was amazing! We sampled a few items and were floored with the quality. Historically, I have not really enjoyed Chai tea, but the Masala Chai Tea sample provided at our entry changed my mind completely and I ordered a round for our party! We don't live close by either and will definitely return again! Next time we come, I'm going chefs choice and be surprised as everything I saw around me at other tables looked amazing!
