What a fun looking place to visit. Boing is a new burger drive-in that recently opened in Newport News on J. Clyde Morris Ave. Focusing on flamed grilled burgers, they have a variety of sandwiches for your pleasure. I have been here twice and have ordered the Boing Burger with everything no cheese (I hate American Cheese). Burger is always cooked to order with fresh toppings. The fries are seasoned well and have their own unique flavor. The place is a drive in, you can eat outside if you like. You order at one window and drive around to the other side to pick it up. The place is painted in all these circus colors that makes it fun to visit. I really like these burgers, I will be updating my review more as I check them out more in the future.

The bun was shiny and beautiful. The patty was cooked to perfection! Just shy of medium. Not one bit dry or overcooked. The topping to patty to bun ratio was on point. And the fries? My god the fries were to die for. Hot, crispy, salted appropriately. Food was delicious. Highly recommended.

Maan let me tell you I have road past this place for MONTHS and have always been like "I wanna try them so bad they just LOOK like they got good burgers so me and my buddy went a few days ago and the burgers are so heart and delicious and the fries are always hot and fresh and have a nice salty taste and 2 for 5.99 burgers? Can't beat it for the quality you get. Have been back twice already. I'm happy to have found a new burger joint that I will now be a regular customer at

I love the food and my hubby did to. He told someone at work and that guy lived so close and loved the food also. What is going on and is it closed for good? I even told the manager or whoever he was when I would go, that the food is great and I would make sure everyone knew about it so he wouldn’t go out of business. So has it opened since they closed for work to be done?

Interesting place. Food was pretty good, and service was quick. The drive through setup is horrible though. It was very hard to drive my double cab shortbed truck through the drive through.

I would have never thought to try this place if my mom had never told me she liked it. The selection is limited but the food is good. I got a burger with cheesed added to it and a side of fries and paid about 7 dollars. That's not too badly priced. The burger was actually really good for a little drive thru spot. I will definitely eat there again.

I have eaten their subs for the last four months and simply can't get enough of them, particularly the Philly cheese steak. YUMMY! Today I tried the Boing Double Burger with mustard and pickle. Hoo boy! It was so good! And thick! Next time I will try just the regular burger cause that Double was just too big!

This was our first trip to Bong. Don't go here if you've had a few, driving around the building is a bit like a sobriety driving test... The french fries were great, hot and crispy... We also ordered Italian subs. The subs were not bad, but nothing special. I do not believe they were freshly made. They were uniformly cool, probably pre-made and refrigerated. We'll try the burgers the next time but will skip the subs from now on...
Great mom and pop burger joint! Super affordable prices and just plain good simple burgers :) Meal came out quick and hot and the fries were good to boot, salty and crispy yet airy. Definitely recommend!

I went yesterday for lunch and it was awesome loved the double burger and fries. They even gave me a coupon because it was my first time going there. Today however, SUCKED!! I went back today for lunch, not to mention it's my birthday, and was so disappointed. I got to the window and the manager threw a fit, huffing and puffing, because i didn't have any bills smaller than a $50. The person who took my order asked me the same questions about my order over and over and still got my order wrong! My subs were supposed to have double meat, extra mayo, and no tomato. Tell me why neither of them had extra meat, one of them had a regular amount of mayo while the other had no mayo at all, and the other also had tomatoes on it. Will NOT be going back! Terrible birthday lunch

My new go to burger and ice cream stop! The prices are great for the quality of the food that they provide. The workers are so pleasant too and they adore our dog when we stop by. I must say I was pretty try bummed when dairy queen closed here, but they are the best replacement for this location! Great job and thanks for always giving great service.
