Stopped by to pick up last minute cupcakes for my son's birthday without notice. As always, there was a great selection and amazing cupcakes. George is always very friendly and helpful. He was very accommodating and even made a fresh cupcake for me because my son would not have cared for the standard chocolate drizzle. This is a Hilton favorite and if you are in the market for cupcakes and sweets, you will not be disappointed!!!!

I called for a lemon cake for a friend's birthday. I didn't think that I would be able to get the cake because it was such short notice. I was pleasantly surprised when the owner advised me that he would be able to bake the cake for me that morning and have it late afternoon for pickup. I have used this bakery for a long time now and I recommend it.

The first time i visited this place it was closed and no one answered the phone. The second time I called and no answer but the owner or whoever he is called me back the next day. I told him i needed 2 dozen assorted cupcakes and he said he will be opened at 12 and I can pick out which ones i want. I went there at 12 the next day and it was closed and when I called no answer. Completely unprofessional.
Bought a custom cake from this business. The cake was not the quality I expected for the amount paid. Wanted a decorated cake for a Hampton U grad. Got a regular cake with poor quality. Not a professional level cake for a college grad.

I left a review on google as well but AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I reached out several times to get a cake for a special event and each time was told he would "call me back." I'm not even sure who was answering the phone but he sounded very stressed and honestly not friendly at all. At least 3 or 4 times he told me he would call me back and each time I had to follow up and he continued to tell me the same thing. I love supporting small and black owned businesses but this is one to SKIP. Also notice the few good reviews they have are old. Pay attention to along the reviews - I wish I had so I didn't waste my time. I ended up getting a cake elsewhere last minute after this bakery completely and unprofessionally dropped the back. DONT DO IT.

It's now 3 days before the event and I called again and he yet again told me that he would "call me back" and I have received no call. Really sad, unprofessional bakery. I wouldn't recommend based on that alone and wouldn't trust them to take care of your baked goods for any special events. If you can't take my order, then say that, don't just keep telling me you can do it and that you'll call me back and then never call.
