Don't bother with any of their upcharged items because you'll pay for it but not get any of it. Also be prepared to eat cold soggy food. If you're planning on ordering to go then be ready to smell lik an ashtray walking out of the bar. All in all this was a less desirable for a high price. I would skip this place if i were you.

The ratchetness, drunk drivers hitting your car in the parking lot, and the clientele fighting all the time sounds exactly like youd imagine for an irish pub in Newport News.Parking: Great place to cash out on insurance when someone nails your car during a 25 point turn.Kid-friendliness: Under no circumstances are kids to be near this place.

Do not order the lemon pepper hot wings. They were so salty I could not even eat them.

I had a pretty good time. It has a separate smoking area so that was cool.

I love the wings and crab dip,i just have a complaint about the portion. Why are yal charging 15 dollars for this little bit of crab dip.its ridiculous. You guys give more pita points than crab
Walks in expecting a new place. There’s a smoking bar inside of the restaurant. No hostess to be found. Waited 15 min and asked someone. They have 1 server. So we decided to leave. Between the door opening and letting in all the smoke smell from the designated smoking area and the lack of workers it was clear we wouldn’t be taken care of there or leave without being sick from the smoke If we did dine there

The Mai Tais are pretty good . Happy hour drink while you're just chilling. Also, the onion rings are exactly what you want while you're drinking. Go with those.

This location is in serious need of an upgrade. All the locations are turning into dives. Kellys, in general, whether this location or Chesapeake or Virginia Beach have gone downhill. They used to be our go-to restaurant, now, not so much. The food is decent, but nothing special, that is as long as you like well-done hamburgers. We have a joke in our family that we could request a raw hamburger, and it would still come out well done. The service is good, friendly, and accommodating.

Visited this place 4x, tried the turkey burger twice and the fish sandwich twice, had chicken chili, the food is always delicious. Only had one bad experience, went there at about 10pm and wasn't aware that the smoking area was closed as the gentleman told me I can sit anywhere, which I set in the smoking area, noone did not come over, even though the waitress was bussing the table next to where I was sitting and never acknowledged anything. So I called them on the phone and asked if I could have my order taken since I had been waiting for half an hour. When the bar maid and waitress came out the bar maid was rude about the situation, however the waitress did customer service recovery and was very professional, other than that isolated incident, can't dispute the food being excellent! I will visit again and recommend!

Split personality kind of a place, with two distinct zones: the bar is lively, smoking is allowed, rock and roll. Outside the bar area is a row of tables on one side and a row of booths on the other. I sat in a booth and honestly could not smell any smoke. I had a nice quiet meal consisting of one of the best burgers I've had in my life and some sweet potato fries. Bar menu included specialty cocktails and a selection of craft beers that was weak, but which changes all the time. Oh yeah, and they have a nice outdoor patio on the street side. All in all I'd go back. I will say the place is not well marked from the road, because of the large and shady trees. Not a drawback, just trust your GPS and be careful not to miss the turn off of Loftis Blvd.
