This place has really gone downhill. The have turned off online ordering and they no longer answer the phone. The lady that works there is extremely rude. In dire need of a corporate overhall. We used to visit once a week but we will never return.

Unfortunately we have been there several times to try and order take home pizza, but every time we are there, there is a little old lady that is very nasty and lies to thier customers. One she said they were closed about 45 minutes before the listed business hours on the door. One time the same old lady said they ran out of dough, I don't think its a coincidence. Here in Hampton Roads are there two locations one in Virginia Beach and one in Newport News. The one in Virginia Beach closed permanently so now we are left with this one. You want to do better, fire the old lady. Oh and they are closed on Sundays, Lame.

The food is delicious. We love smoking them. The young man who works there is so great. The older lady tho is a different story. So nasty and rude. Very short and monotone like she hates customers coming in and calling. They never have thin crust. New management/ownership would do this place wonders!

The pizza is great when you can get it. The online ordering hasn't worked for some time, so have had to call to place an order. For the third straight time the answer was "no thin crust". What? Is it made from some rare element? So we are finally giving up on Papa Murphy's.

My family visited for the first time to allow our 3 children to get their own pizza made only to find out they just wrap the pizza and carry out with no bag or box to secure them in. I was glad I did wait for my husband to get home from work to take the kids otherwise I would have had to walk my children to the car and leave them while I ran back in the store to get our pizzas.

We just picked up our order placed online. We are in town to visit family who have never had Papa Murphy’s and we want to introduce them to it! I was a little nervous about possibly having to deal with Ms Grumpy after reading the reviews, however, we were greeted pleasantly by a young blonde woman. She was very nice and our pizza was ready on time. I bet we were in and out of the store in under 15 seconds. We stopped by on our way home because we love the quality of food but the old.lady there is horrible! Every time we stop by she is there and is curt and abrupt. Today she said she was the only one there and it would be longer then an hour to get our food. She then said she had two orders ahead of us to take care of. I'm sorry but it shouldn't take an hour to make 2 orders for take and bake pizza! It feels like we annoy her just by ordering food. To bad there isnt another location since this one is over 2 hours from home so we only go to it when we are up this way.

We love Papa Murphy's pizza but wish we had another location to choose from in the area. The older lady that always works here is beyond rude. I felt like I was on her nerves for just walking through the door. She didn't have a couple items I had ordered online and didn't even attempt to apologize or make up for it and was in fact very annoyed when I asked for an alternative. I seriously have never had such poor customer service repeatedly (this is our 3rd time picking up from this location). There was a younger guy there once and he was a breath of fresh air in an otherwise tense atmosphere. God bless him. And for all the reviewers saying the same thing, but trying to make it about race, it's not. I'm white, she is white and I've gotten horrible treatment every time I go in. I wouldn't keep going back if my kids didn't love it so much and there are no other options close to Hampton. ?

The young boy who made the pizza was very inexperienced and kept looking at the menu to see what to put on the pizza. no thin crust and the original crust he used tasted like it had bee/n in the fridge for a long time. Not a good experience and I probably will not go back.
