I wanted to try someplace new for breakfast. I was excited to see they had a steak and egg breakfast. I ordered online and the confirmation said food would be ready by 9:06 to 9:11am great. I drive 20 minutes to pick up breakfast in my way to work leaving a good 15- 20 minutes to eat and begin my day. I get there at 9:05 but the machine never went off so they didn't see my order until I arrived. I no big deal system issues happen. They find the order, apologize and said it will be just a few minutes. I pleasantly say ok and the young lady offers a drink. Yes I'm inconvenienced but figures hey it's not to bad here. I'm waiting waiting and waiting and watching watching watching while all the people dining in orders are being prepared. He did place the steak on the grill but then prepare everyone else's meal 1st as if I had just came in and placed an order. After about 25 minutes of waiting at the counter I gently ask "hey how much longer because I kind of have to get to work" the woman replies that there are a lot of orders ahead of you and he is only one guy. She then says that the steak takes a while to cook. Big sigh as I've been watching the entire process. Henhad to take my steak off because it was overlooking while he was preparing other orders. I ended up waiting over 30 minutes for 6oz steak and eggs which was done 20 plus minutes prior to my eggs finally being cooked. I finally got my food and left. The potatoes are delicious but my steak as expected was a dry hockey puck. I did try to mention again that I was just going to be late for work and didn't anticipate it would be another 30 plus minutes. She was just dismissive like of well. I was saddened by that because I was really trying to be understanding! Also, the cook was NOT using ANY gloves. He touches everything by hand, tons of cross contamination and unsanitary practices. I see that based on reviews the "no gloves thing" has been going on for years so it's not going to change. While the potatoes were good I won't be back!! $25 for cold hockey puck steak breakfast a half hour passes the pick up time is a hard pass for me!

My sister went to this place to get breakfast. She is picky about her food and she likes it. The staff is attentive and courteous. I looked over the menu, the prices are reasonable. They do not accept debit/credit cards. They do have a ATM there, $2.50 to withdraw, not bad lol.

Great hole-in-the-wall family owned lunch counter joint!Been here a few times for breakfast and the occasional lunch/snack. Hot dogs are the bomb, but it’s the house made Greek sausage that steals the show. Great in their 3 egg omelette with peppers, mushrooms and onion. It’s a must have!Note: while they are really reasonably priced, it’s cash only so be prepared (there is an ATM on site just in case).

I have lived in the area for 2 years and still trying to find places to eat near Oyster Point, I always drive to Hampton for known favorites. Papou George’s is a hidden gem. It reminds me of Tommy’s and Vancosta’s both are nice Greek restaurants to eat in or grab and go. I have gone several times now and the food is awesome and reasonable, CASH only. Our family loves the nice size Texas French Toast, pancakes, scrambled and fried eggs, bacon, sausage links, corn beef hash and potatoes with onions. This place alone made me consider not moving back closer to Hampton. It takes a lot to impress me and I would say they are An A+ in my book!!!Kid-friendliness: Nice oldies diner decor and friendly atmosphere.

Simple, quick, & delicious! Greek sausage has a kick so, just be aware. No hot sauce required! Got the biscuits & gravy & hotcake special. Coffee could use a tune up as it was on the lighter side.

Please don’t eat here. Unsanitary. No one had on gloves. I literally watched the guy on the grill scratch his armpits then handled the burgers. I watched another lady who at first glance I thought was a customer because she was sitting at a table. Get up from that table wall around to the fryers and without sanitizing her hands or putting on gloves mix the potatoes chips that was sitting in some type of solution around with her bare hands. She then grabbed a handful and dumped them in the fryer and walked off to tend to whatever she was doing prior. The health inspector needs to investigate. It was absolutely disgusting what I witnessed in the 10 minutes of sitting there. I cancelled my order and left.
