I ordered a lambeth heart cake from this location and it was delicious! The customer service was great and the cake looked and tasted wonderful! My one criticism was the writing on the cake. The writing was a bit too big for the cake, but a smaller icing tip would’ve been perfect! Will definitely order from them again though! 10/10!

Wedding cake cupcake flavor is the best!!! It's an almond vanilla flavored cake with icing. Soooo good!!!! Got to stop here if you're passing through in a road trip to and from VB!!!

I live in the Williamsburg area but come to this establishment beacause of the experience. I recently purchased a dozen of cupcakes for my daughter's birthday and they were GREAT! The staff is always courteous and the presentation of the cupcakes is always beautiful. The establishment is always decorated nice and clean as well. Thanks for everything you do.
I was next door picking up our sushi order and saw this place, so I stopped by on a whim. And I'm SO GLAD that I did. The entire building smells heavenly, and the displays are gorgeous ? I chose a six-pack of cupcakes so we could try a few, and I regret not getting a dozen. We had the Cookies-and-creme, coconut, German-chocolate, pink vanilla, and carmel, and every single one of them was delicious. For fresh, high-end baked cupcakes, the price point is fantastic. I will absolutely be going here again and will likely look into a cake order for an upcoming birthday. I may even drag a friend here next week for a visit since the atmosphere is amazing. I HIGHLY recommend you visit Smallcakes.

You can’t come here and not feel happy. The owner has the best decor for every season and the months in between. Service always impeccable and the cupcakes, ice cream and cones are beyond delicious. Georgia peach and 24 Karat have zero competition!

These cupcakes are my favorite, as they are consistently good. I love the chocoholic, the birthday cake, and the cookies and cream. These bad boys are huge so you'll get your monies worth. The service is always friendly and kind- always greeted with a smile. They did some upgrades to the decor maybe a year ago or so, and it's super cute. We love coming here and we will be back.

I just love this place. The owner Wendy is as sweet as her cupcakes. She always welcomes my 4 and 2 year old and never bats an eye at a mess they might make. I always feel so welcome. We go here after getting a haircut next door. My kids will do anything for her homemade ice cream. Thanks for a great tradition wendy

Small cakes in Newport News has been one of our favorite. Compared to other cup cake bakeries in the area theirs are above the rest! The cake to frosting ratio is on point. The cake is moist and I love their flavor options! They recently redecorated the inside and it's very farm house chic. Seating is minimal so carry out is the best option. They are always politely and helpful. They do offer a military discount for those service members.
