Food was great. I had the sashimi salad. The fruit pieces were bright and fresh. I was a tad underwhelmed by the spicy tuna handroll. I happen to like a larger chunk spicy tuna and less crunchy stuff. Atmosphere was fine. Service was fantastic. I was hoping to find chirashi on the menu.

DO NOT EAT THERE. I used to eat this place none stop. Until today I ordered food. I ordered $70 worth of food to be exact and I had hair animal hair all through out my food!! EVERYWHERE!! I didn’t even call for a refund because I’m wayyyyy too angry to think straight but please for your safety DO NOT EAT THERE!!!!
Their takeout only because of covid is a JOKE!! Y’all want customers get rid of the takeout only policy.

(Sushi) We ordered takeout, and everything was delicious. We even had the gyoza and rangoon, and they traveled really well. We don't usually do takeout for sushi because it's better fresh, but since this restaurant is takeout-only right now, it seems they've got it down.

I go here about once a week. I love every hibachi they have especially the shrimp hibachi. The shrimp is large and the yum yum sauce is the best in the area. My kids love the Bento boxes. I've tried the hibachi, bento boxes, ramen, and teriyaki. The teriyaki was my least favorite. I loved everything else.

I ordered the sushi rolls and house salad on Doordash and was pleasantly surprised. The food arrived quickly and was super yummy and fresh. Will definitely be ordering from here again :)
I just moved to the area a few weeks ago and been eating at hibachi express in newport news and yorktown and have loved it. I decided to try volcano due to it being right up the street from me. I regret it. Food is so bland rice is bland they give a tiny container of the sauce not even enough to go on half the rice. I'm so disappointed, even when you walk into establishment it smells funky looks run down not very inviting. I'll stick to hibachi express. If you want good hibachi and great service and good serving size go to hibachi express if you want bland food go to volcano

I made a mistake and placed an order at this location. I live in a different city almost 2 hours away. So when I realized the mistake I immediately called to cancel and I tried to apologize but the woman who answered the phone hung up on me SEVERAL TIMES! I even asked to speak to a manager and she said the manager wasn’t here and hung up again! She was very rude and unprofessional! Of this is how she treats people on the telephone I don’t want to know how she does face to face!

The lady that works the front counter, to put it nicely, is very unpleasant. I come in every now and then to grab a door dash order so you’d think that they would be somewhat grateful for helping their business. I’ve never eaten there before, and from just how she comes off, has ruined my desire to ever spend a dollar
