Poor customer service. Theres a sign with their hours right next to the register and it says 7pm. I walk up at 5:58 pm and at first noone even acknowledges me for a minute. Then the girl finally speaks and tells me all they have for tonight is what's in the case. Its literally two lonely pretzels sitting in the case. Terrible.

Right off the bat, no sense of urgency. I ordered 2 cinnamon pretzels. The man at the counter told me they only had one and said, "I could get you nuggets..." Not what I asked for, first of all. Secondly, they were drenched in butter and inedible. Won't be back and I advise the manager of this location to hire people who actually give a you know what.

A regular stop for us, never had an issue with the service. Wish the pretzels had a little less butter, but they taste delicious.

Love the NEX. Prices are average with no sales tax EVER. I like there selection of children's and men's clothing. There women clothes at this particular NEX is a little dated in my opinion. They also have pretty decent athletic shoes for the kids. They occasionally will have more popular shoe brands but it's not always guaranteed: They also have a pretty decent electronics department and food court.

I ordered over the phone a bouquet of roses for my daughter's graduation/ceremony at Old Dominion University, Norfolk for Saturday 15 Dec 2018. I asked for a pageant style bouquet with ribbons to match her college colors. To my amazement, they came out way over than I had expected. Best flowers I've ever ordered through any florists. The designer's name is Beverly. Thank U Beverly for making this day extra special!! The flowers are beautiful!!! Love the extra sparkly stems added in the bouquet.

I paid 40$ to get played. What I wanted vs. what I got. For a nail tech who was bragging about doing nails for 30+ years she should have been able to do this no problem.

This NEX is usually pretty crowded for obvious reasons (just outside Naval Station Norva). Typical conveniences available being tax free and all. But most products are sold at retail. Clothing prices are ridiculously high unless there are clearances. Best sales are available during holidays. I get my 511s for work since I can at least save on the sales tax exemption. Back in the day (80s), the NEX was the spot to save money significantly on comparable name brand products. But since around the mid 1990s, all NEXs can actually be quite expensive. Kinda defeats the purpose of trying to help support the troops financially if they can get things cheaper out in town. Only real positive, is the convenience if you happen to work on base or live close by.

Disappointed in the service received, workers were unprofessional, tried arguing with me on what I ordered, and never gave me the receipt to the order.

This place is the worst. Employees don't care, store is severely dated and lay out does not make sense. For supposedly the "biggest NEX in the Navy" this place is horrible. Selection is not good. You can buy all the same stuff at Walmart.

Went at 7 they close at 8. They had two pretzel cups, 3 pretzels and refused to make anything else.... so we begrudgingly picked from what they had which after tasting we regret as they had probably been there for hours, we got cheese which was cold and no napkins in the bag... complete disappointment.

This is for the uniform section. I went there to try to return a cover I bought in San Diego, but couldn't due to not having a receipt. No problem there, I get it. That's not what has me annoyed. It's the lack of floor sales people. To get this answer I had to stand in line at customer service for 15 minutes. Then I had to get back in line to get the cover I needed. Another 15 minutes only to find a black spot on the top of it right before my turn. Out of line again, just to get a blemish free cover (less than 10 feet from where I was standing in line). Back in line again where I've been now for 20 minutes. I could have been out of here at least 30 minutes ago if there had been someone to help me. There are only 2 registers working, and a 20 foot long line behind me. I just heard the supervisor say to someone she was going to be hiding back in alterations. Nice way to lead your people, hiding in the back while they deal with customers that are ticked for having to wait forever just to check out or get questions answered. I hate having to come over here, but had to come to the base for a meeting and thought I'd make a quick trip. This has not been a quick trip.
