We tried this super cute restaurant with a steampunk vibe for a drink and a snack. They have an extensive menu with lots of beers, snacks and entrees. We decided to get some of the pineapple beer which was delicious. I had never had alligator before, so the alligator bites were a must. They tasted like chicken, but leaner. Delicious.Equally as delicious were the massive Mac and Cheese bites, the asparagus, and my side salad.Service was great, beers were great, and food was great. 10/10 would recommend.

Came here with my team for a team lunch. We made a reservation that morning and the staff and owner were super accommodating. We had lunch around 11:30 and when we arrived there was a sign welcoming us with our company logo. We thought that was nice enough but we were pleasantly surprised to see the owner printed special menus that had our logo and menu items that related to our company. The extra mile taken made is feel special and the food was also delicious I ordered a Burger with garlic parm fries that was delicious and got to try some Buffalo chicken dip that was amazing as well.

My company had our Christmas party at the Brick Anchor Brew House. Working with the owner and general manager for this event was an absolute pleasure. They were thorough and paid attention to detail. They even created custom drink menus with our company logo. Good communication with the team as well! The restaurant as it's self has a cool historical ambiance in Norfolk. They had the place decorated for Christmas and had fun details such as buddy the elf cut out & an upside down Christmas tree. Our company just added some table toppers. We rented out the whole restaurant which was very accommodating since we had 50-56 people attend for this party. The food was incredible! We had chicken piccata, steak, roasted potatoes & vegetables. Every bite was delicious. Highly recommend having an event here!

My husband ordered an Italiano and this is what he got. Subway looks better than this. We ordered a grilled cheese for my daughter and this is what she received, who serves grilled cheese with no butter on the bread? Looks like it was done on a panini press. I asked for hot sauce and the waitress said “ I don’t think we have any “but we have “Bacon Jam” lol really?! My friend ordered a Philly Steak with no peppers, he was served a Philly with peppers. We asked for our receipts and didn’t receive any. Place was below satisfactory.

I stopped by for a drink and quick bite. I was certainly satisfied with the menu options. The lamb chop special was a great deal. I forgot to take pictures of the lamb entree but my pulled pork loaded fries (appetizer) was HUGE! The lemon drop martini was very tasty and definitely worth the price. Sweet server too; I think it was her second day.

Good place. The food is more casual than the atmosphere first appeared. We almost walked right past this place because the light were really bright and it looked really fancy and kinda stuffy - it was actually great. Amazing selection of beer, good and interesting food and our wait staff was knowledgeable, friendly and great. Well priced and easily accommodating. I would definitely come back.

Husband ordered the shrimp po boy which was also delish! The place has a steampunk kind of vibe, super cool decorWe sat at the bar, service was great! Beer selection was good too, tried a pumpkin cider that was tasty!

Frequent traveler who attends multiple restaurants per week in cities across the entire US. The atmosphere in the establishment was very good. I think if I was looking to sit down and drink beer without a meal this would be a solid place to do so. I'm solely ranking this establishment off of the food experience. I decided to go with the Reuben with fries and a side of ranch. I had looked through reviews prior to attending like I alway do. Multiple reviews stated the French fried were soggy. I can confirm the fries were very soggy. I would give the fries a 2/10. Reuben was up next. Over all it was very bland. There needs to be a sauce of some sort included on this Reuben. There are certain Reuben's that I have eaten that go for the "bare style" and really pull it off. But this needed something more. I didn't get any taste. It felt like I was just eating to eat and get full. Over all I would rank this Reuben a 2.9/10 on the Reuben scale. My advice would be to try adding some sort of sauce. Ranch was not brought until I finished my meal. So I never go to try the fires with ranch. Over all I would rank the establishment a 2.3 out of 5. This is not a restaurant I would find myself coming back to as an out of towner for food. Now a beer...That's a different story!

Stumbled upon this little bar Saturday night and it was very quiet. Bartender said it's usually busy during dinner hours but I enjoyed the personalized one on one service she provided. Drinks were on point and she was kind enough to make recommendations for the area. The drink options were plentiful; wine, beer and mixed drinks are available. It's a good jumping point for a group that wants to spend the night up and down the strip. I would definitely go back.

I gave Brick Anchor 3 stars on the Bring Fido app mostly because they were nice to my fairly large (1 year old, 100 lbs) dog and that is what this app is really about. They have a small patio area (a bar on the side of the building with 4 seats at the most,) and a cute- slightly raised- dog bowl with water for your sweet dog. When we got there, 2 people were already on the patio area, so they let us sit at the bar by the window and bring the bowl in which was better for our big dog anyways! However, on Yelp I can only give Brick Anchor 2 stars. The service wasn't anything to brag about. I do not know how many people were upstairs, but they weren't crazy busy down where we were, and we counted at least 6 workers, counting the bar tender who ended up having to give us everything we needed because we'd have to go ask her for it. Everyone seemed nice enough, just not really attentive. Although everyone seemed nice enough, we never got silverware, we never got napkins, we never got condiments, etc. As for the food, the steak was tender, but that was really the only good item from all 4 of our orders. 2 of us got the steak tacos, I got the steak frites, and one of us got a cheeseburger- none of us finished our food due to the taste. There was so much (big chunks of) garlic on the fries that I only ate a couple and that was ALL I could taste. I couldn't eat any more, and no one else at the table wanted them after trying them either. I love garlic, but WOW! In summation; maybe they were having a REALLY off day, I know it was the last day of Wicked at Chrysler Hall, but based on our experience, I wouldn't recommend it.

My husband and I stopped here at 5:45 on a Thursday evening before going to a show at the Chrysler Center at 7:30. The restaurant didn't look busy when we arrived but we realized pretty quickly that there were only two waiters and with several floors in the restaurant and a rehearsal dinner going on upstairs, they were reasonably having trouble keeping up with all the tables. We ordered water to start and then waited a while before we were able to place our food orders. I chose the pulled pork sandwich and house fries and asked for a side Caesar salad to start. My husband ordered the rodeo burger (medium well) with house fries. The food came out about 30 minutes later and was not at all hot or fresh. The wait was a little stressful since we were on a schedule to see the show and thought we had allowed plenty of time to get there. The Caesar salad came at the same time as the meal. The lettuce was limp and it did not come tossed with dressing. The sandwiches were lukewarm and the fries were limp and greasy, although they had a good flavor and I'm sure would have tasted great if they had been hot and fresh. My husband's burger was cooked medium rare and didn't include the candied bacon as described on the menu. The restaurant has a neat eclectic vibe and the menu has lots of options. On a better night, the food and service would likely have been more enjoyable. During a time when many places are understaffed, I certainly don't blame the waiters who were working hard to pull off a big task.

Nice brew pub. They offer AMAZING selection of beers and are quick to offer tastes before you make that difficult commitment to a full glass. Unfortunately a number of beers on their menu were tapped out. It would be good to utilize app with live updates for selection. I ordered the Mac n Cheese burger. It was messy for sure but that is to be expected. I found the Mac n cheese to be bland. I ordered parmesan truffle fries and also found them bland. Truffle oil is normally potent so suspect they forgot to drizzle it. They were nice enough to bring me a small serving of oil that I could drizzle myself. Overall, I found the experience to be good.

We hosted a wedding welcome party upstairs and had a great experience! The service, food, and venue were all great; Phil was easy to work with; and they went above and beyond making a personalized sign and drink menus. Having use of the retractable screen and projector for a slideshow was a plus. I highly recommend Brick to host your event!

Wonderful space to host receptions or working lunches for your staff. Great view of Granby, great value for your food, and very flexible with any planning logistics you could ask for. Couldn't recommend them enough!

I did my birthday dinner at Brick Anchor Brew House last night and everyone had a blast. Our server was amazing and the food was delicious! It was hard to find a restaurant to accommodate a party of 15 without charging an arm and a leg, but this restaurant didn't just accommodate me and my friends, they made my birthday extra special by making personalized menu and birthday signs for FREE!
