DO NOT EAT HERE! BAD SERVICE AND NASTY FOOD!! To start the waitress was dry and not personable at all. She never smiled one time. We had a table of 10 and the table was so big we could hardly reach the things they placed in the middle. The food came out warm and not hot. I had the bolognese and it had no flavor and the pasta made up most of the dish with very little meat. Another member of our party never ate because they made the food with nuts although the allergy alert was given ahead of time. Then when the food finally came it was wrong. The manager was rude and dismissive and just took the food back and walked away.

We had a reservation and the table was ready as soon as we arrived. That was definitely the only positive thing about our experience. The food came out warm not hot which meant it was cold before we finished eating. My sister ordered the lamp chops medium well and asked for no pistachios due to an allergy. When all the food came the waitress said hers would take a little longer as they mistakenly made it with the pistachios and were remaking it. After about another 20 minutes her food arrived but was very rare instead of medium well as requested. We asked for the manager (Andrew) and he took almost 10 minutes to come out. When he did he was unapologetic and said he didn't come out because he has 4 other restaurants to manage basically alluding to the fact that he was too busy to address us. He was dismissive and only said “Do you want something else or you want me to take it off?” He then took the food and walked away. He was extremely rude and the reason my family will NEVER come back and will make sure we also tell everyone we know to not patronize this restaurant as well. 0/10 what a horrible end to my daughters graduation!

With all the hype - the emails and texts we received warning us that you all were so booked for graduation, it was strange to arrive and leave to an empty restaurant. The area where our table was, the floor was sticky as if it hadn't been properly washed in awhile. The food was ok. Our mashed potatoes were lumpy and cold. There was just nothing extraordinary about our meal.

Terrible food! It's my first time and the eggplant parmesan I had was so bad, eggplant was raw and breading was burnt, and pasta was a little undercooked. My first and last to this place. Also when my friend asked for box, the waitress literally just tossed it on the middle of the table. Really bad experience!!

We went to Capo Capo for a birthday dinner. We liked it a lot. Good was very good and Service was also very good. The waiter was personalable and funny! Nice, quiet table in away from the bar, which we loved. Everything was prepared perfectly. The Gnocchi was great, and the Tuna was exceptional. It lost a star for the really unfriendly and abrupt hostess!!! The first person you met should be very friendly and this woman was anything but! Maybe an off night. All in all, a very good night.

We enjoyed our meal very much. I ordered the 14oz Cowboy Ribeye and it was cooked just as I ordered. I only wish they offered a baked potato instead of fries or mashed potatoes. My husband ordered alfredo pasta with chicken and said it was scrumptious. The lemon creme cake was divine! We were celebrating our anniversary and they acknowledged it very sweetly with a table card, and gave us a large booth even though they were normally set aside for parties of 3 or more. We will definitely visit again the next rime we're in Norfolk!

Capo Capo presents itself as an upscale dining experience, however everything about it was anything but. The sitting area was dirty with trash on the floor around the tables and booths. The clientele were dressed quite casually - jeans and a tee shirt were the norm. Service was attentive but the food was subpar and portions were quite small. The butternut squash ravioli was very sweet. The ravioli tasted like they were filled with pumpkin pie filling. The large salad that was described as shareable was barely enough for one person. The cab sav we ordered was very sweet, the wait staff and hostess were dressed in jeans or equivalent attrire. The vibe and experience was one of a Sizzler steakhouse or Chilis. Very disappointed...

Food surprised us and everything we ordered was fantastic. I would recommend this to hotel guests who don't want to venture out

The atmosphere looks great. Feel like im stepping back in time. Lovely and elegant. We started out at the bar with drinks while we waited on the rest of the party to arrive Drinks were smooth and great presentation. After we were seated we ordered appetizer. The waitress was great at giving recommendation and patient with our group. When the appetizers arrived, some were good, some were interesting. The calamari was great. The pork shank was out of this world. Never had it before. The bruschetta is a no. It's not your traditional. It came topped with a pile of ricotta cheese, drizzled with basaltic vinager and chopped tomatoes. Weird definitely was not for me or anyone else at the table. The main course was not good. We had found out they just changed their menu. I had the spicy pasta. It originally comes with sausage but you can substitute for chicken. I did this and added shrimp. There was no spicy to it. The chicken was dry and the shrimp was undercooked, had the tails on underneath the penne at the bottom of the dish. After a few bites I decided to best not to eat this dish. Someone at the table order the gnocchi with beef. Some of the gnocchi was cold some was hot. Someone ordered the steak. I am told it was good. However, the ran out of the vegetables and substituted spinach without notifying us. A few hours later aft we left the restaurant and went to another establishment, my stomach began to ache. After checking in with my party the next day. 3 out of 5 of us had stomach issues. In the future I will probably go for drinks and ambiance. Food is a no go.Parking: Two garages near by

Lay out can be alittle confusing. Restaurant feint door doesn't take you directly to the restaurant. Food selection is pretty diverse with some pretty good selections. Drinks were strong and affordable.

The food was good, and the service average. The Ambiente is more like a sports bar than an Italian restaurant. I expected more Italian flair.

We went for our Friday date night dinner. I had the strip steak with sateed spinach and a fried mash potato cake. The steak and sides had no flavor. My husband had the cowboy steak and truffle fries. He wasnt impressed with the food either. I think he'd rather have had a better side with such a nice looking steak than french fries. He didn't eat his fries and just picked at the steak which he agreed was not as tasty as he hoped. However, the atmosphere, the staff and service was excellent. I just wish the food matched, then it would be an ideal place to revisit.

I ordered the Caesar salad and the 14 ounce Ribeye and was extremely disappointed. The salad didn't even have Romaine. The leaf lettuce was shredded as you would buy a prepared bagged version. the dressing tasted as if it had too much mayonnaise. The Parmesan cheese was grated. It tasted like the kind of salad a teenager would make from the last remaining products in the pantry before supermarket day.The steak came out overcooked. Then, when I finally received the correct steak, the cut was 80% fat.$71 wasted. Dont waste your money.
