The hot dogs are GOOD ??. I had a regular hot dog all the way with Chili and slaw. The frys were good and hot. Just honk the horn, and they will come out to your car and take your order and bring your food to you. I will go back again and try something different on their menu. The service was great and very friendly.

I really like ordering breakfast from this place, it's convenient and they're open early mornings for delivery plus the food is pretty good. The one con is the portions that they give for turkey bacon. You get one piece of turkey bacon with your meal, and they cut it in half to appear as 2 pieces of bacon. That's kind of ridiculous.

First review done entirely from the car. Loving the Norfolk area with it's many hot dog institutions. Danny's is another one to add to the list. Pull up, honk your horn, they'll come out and take your order, credit cards accepted. A minute later you gots your food. Hot dogs are completely customized by you with a lot of different toppings. I spotted at least one picnic table else eat in your vehicle or take it somewhere. Good place. Large menu.

Purchased 2 hot dogs, chips, and a tea today. The total was $12.62. Not including my tip. Inflation is up so I feel like I can't knock them on their prices. The waitress was delightful. She comes to your car and takes your order. The food was delicious. So I wasn't disappointed at all. The bun was a lil too bready for me. But I will definitely try them again. A hot dog is $3.69.Update: Went back on 9/12/23 and tried a bacon, egg, & cheese on toast. I was so good too!
My mother and my Aunt would go to Danny's at least once a week and started taking me when I was 6 months old (in 1967) and feeding me the chili from the hotdogs. I grew up eating Danny's footings "all the way" until my mid 20s when I moved away from Va. Beach for college and then my career. Needless to say, whenever I am back home in Va. Beach, this is a must stop a couple of times for two foot-longs "all the way" each time. I wish knew rhe recipe so I could make them at "home"' here in Tennessee! It brings back the wonderful memories of my mom and my Aunt who have since passed away. I've never found another place anywhere with a hot dog chili sauce that is anywhere as good as the one at Danny's! Love, love, love this place. :-)

I like the service at Danny's hot dogs because they come out to your car you don't have to worry about how you dress they have courteous employees boys that always have straight to your car will you blow your horse and they have good food

I give it a 2 for pricing and quality. The food is good. I like eating their for flavor and the staff is nice. The portions for the price is what will prevent me from going back. They obviously can keep their minimal hours secondary to small portions at high prices. Their wraps and sanwhiches are all kid size portions at other restraunts at premium cost. A breakfast wrap is 1 egg, a slice and a 1/2 of bacon, minimal cheese and sauce for $9 and some change. The same size wrap that is $1.59 at Taco Bell. An order of onion rings is $4.95 and we recieved 5 onion rings. When I called i was told it was based on weight, then told "God Bless You" for my concern. Really?? Is that how a family business feels and treats a hard working paying customer? It saddens me to see anyone feels this is acceptable. I do not recommend a business that succeeds and profits from taking advantage of others.

If I could do a negative 5 then I would. WORST FOID EVER! Found a hair on my fries and burger was the worst I ever had. Meat was hard like it was recooked from 3 days ago. Threw the whole meal away. Please don't go here!1/4 Lb. Danny Burger
