Had to wait 30 mins for TWO TACOS?!Also, saw a guy at the bar follow and harass a female diner, and the staff did nothing about it. She was clearly uncomfortable, and I know the staff saw it, and they said NOTHING to help the woman.

I had shrimp tacos that had 3 medium shrimps, sprinkle of lettice, tons of onions and tomatoes. The service was great our waiter was attentive and very professional. The salsa was mediocre. The cheese dip was good but cold. For about 20$ I got 3 bland tacos heavy on the onions (no requested by me) and no sides came with this meal. I looked around and other items look delicious so it was disappointing. I may try this restaurant again to try something else.

Guys. Come to this place and thank me later. El Rey #2 was just a cool freaking spot with impeccable birria options, fantastic daily specials, and excellent margaritas. Ambiance through the roof too—the neon and black light and art work lent a party feel to the visit in the best way. We had a blast. It's a bit of a haul from VB, but I'd do it again any day.

Food was awfully bland & cold for being a quick delivery. Delivery driver & restaurant didn’t ask nor let us know they didn’t have the sodas we ordered & took it upon themselves to put in two different options while also not being the sizes ordered. The three tacos platters was shredded & falling apart before one bite. And as if the corn tortillas were done two weeks ago. A French fry is more firm than your tortillas holding the fried pork. Rice wasn’t as plain in seasoning from other guests’ opinions. What a waste of time & money spent. I should’ve taken majority of the other recently bad reviews into favor. Goodluck to staying open El Rey. The one star was for how tasty the mini churros were. Thank You for the treat.

How was this place? LOUD, Very noisy. The wait staff couldn't hear us and we couldn't hear each other. Of course Taco Tuesday isn't the time to go if you're looking for a nice quiet meal. Everyone was having a really good time! Service received 3 stars because there was very little of it. It took 2 or 3 offers of chips and salsa before it arrived. I used to train wait staff. They were just too busy to do a really good job. Helpings are generous. The filing for my quesadilla was very good. Odd, but it didn't carry through for me with the tortilla included in a bite. Would I go back again? You bet!
This is my favorite Mexican restaurant and today’s experience reminded me why. Terrell provided exceptional service from start to finish. The food was delectable and the atmosphere and energy was exactly what I needed after a long week. Thank you again Terrell for an amazing happy hour time. I’ll definitely be back.
