I came here for a friends birthday and it was ok. I got the fish and chips. It was pretty bland. I don't feel like the fries were cooked through and the fish was unseasoned. The breading was nice but it was generally flavorless. I tried some of the other food at the table which included the cheese flat bread and wings. The flat bread was actually gross and the wings were the only decent thing in my opinion. This drinks weren't too expensive tho so if you wanna drink I recommend

This Irish bar has food worthy enough that I might actually bring my parents to. Enjoyed a Black Bush whiskey, quick service, great chips, and the seasonal specials featured a watermelon and tomato salad with feta. Very refreshing. Unfortunately, the turkey sandwich with bacon and Parmesan Mornay sauce was so salty I couldn't eat, but a few bites.

My family and I have been to Grace O'Malley's many times. It has a menu of good food that seems authentic. From Guinness on tap to a good whisky selection and cocktails, there are plenty of beverage choices. The place gets a little loud, especially when they have live music, so it isn't a quiet pub for relaxing. The staff are great. We have always had excellent service.

We walk in and immediately get greated with this nonchalant attitude which ya know, whatever. We sit down and get our water and beers. Service is EXTREMELY slow. We then finally order our food after what seemed like longer than it should. Scotch Eggs which were ok. My wife got the cottage pie which looked great and tasted fine. I got the bangers and mash which at first glance, did not look great. 3 anemic looking sausages over unseasoned mash with gravy that was missing the onions with beans on the side. Everything but the sausages were cold which tells me they are probably microwaved. I sent it back and got another 10 minutes later with a new dish that has the missing onions, but the beans were cold again. Flavor wasn't great either, pretty bland. I think the best part of the experience was the Smithwicks beer.

Lights were on full the whole time. No music was playing. Half the tables had dishes from past guest still on them and no one cleaned them even tho they were very well over staffed. Terrible bar, but that just might be all of virginia at this point

Grace O’Malley’s Pub is a no-brainer when you find yourself in Norfolk, offering up classic pub grub in a laid-back atmosphere. While perusing the menu, my envy peaked as my friend’s choice, the tomato soup and cheddar cheese sandwich, arrived looking absolutely fantastic. Despite its simple description, it exceeded expectations in both presentation and taste, according to my friend’s glowing review. Of note and to my disappointment there was no cheeseburger on the menu though.Service at Grace O’Malley’s is swift, ensuring you’ll be digging into your meal in no time. Overall, if you’re in the mood for a casual dining experience with reliably good food, I highly recommend giving Grace O’Malley’s Pub a try.

Excellent service, food, and atmosphere. Tried the poutine, scotch eggs, fish and chips. Will come back to try more items on the menu. Was loud inside during dinner rush so be cautious with sound sensitive kids.

One of the hosts was having a horrible day. I don't know what was wrong, but she was incredibly rude and off-putting. My GF and I feel that it was something outside if work, and we gave her grace. We really enjoyed this spot. Music was good. Food was good. We probably stayed longer than we should. Date night and we were completely caught up in our own energy, but it was a great date. We will come back!! I like the one in Matthews NC, also.

I had a very enjoyable dining experience. Stopped in for a quick meal, and was easily accommodated. Aaron and Beth were professional and courteous. "No fussing and no fighting." Just good hospitality and pleasant company
