One and done for me. Seemed overpriced for what we got. Food wasn't bad, but didn't wow

Disappointed. Took my daughter out for her birthday dinner. We both ordered the scallop entre. There were four very small scallops over a bed of polenta. The polenta was tasty but the scallops were not only tiny but underwhelming in flavor. No vegetables or bread were served. We had two glasses of house white wine and shared a slice of cheesecake. Cost with tip… $122.00 The only positive was our server’s attentiveness.

I'll start with service...it was ok. All were friendly and knowledgeable. We just felt rather rushed. Rather than "welcome. Stay awhile." It was more like. "Have you made your decision yet? I want to put it in incase we get busy."House rose was delicious and the pumpkin white Russian was absolutely amazing. So much so that I had another! There aren't words that describe how delightful our food was. The bruschetta was so fresh. The shrimp and grits were perfect. My son had the black and blue burger and loved it as well. We finished the evening with house made creme Brule and bourbon bread pudding. Such talent in that kitchen. We were there for their jazz night. The music was very good and not so loud you couldn't talk to the person next to you. What a great experience. I can't wait to return.

A place that offers various benedicts, that can't get the hollandaise or the poached egg right at all. Food was left under the warmer far too long. I couldn't eat the first plate to which, for $20 a plate, only offered to bring us new poached eggs on the side. What should've been done for that much a plate was redo the whole plate. There's no reason I should've had to ask for them to at least take the plate and remove the eggs and replace the eggs and hollandaise and seasonings on it. And I RARELY ask for a redo because I know people have off days and I don't need to make it worse but as I'm autistic and it was almost entirely inedible. The only reason I ate any of it was because how hungry I was since it was almost noon and I hadn't ate in over 12 hrs and already had coffee. And I couldn't even finish one of the two on my plate. It was truly that abysmal. And it wasn't just my Benedict that was messed up. 3 out of 13 people in our group ordered different ones and all of them turned out the same way.Escargo was okay but nothing to write about.Bill got messed up several times as well.Do NOT recommend this place. Food overall was not worth what they were charging at all nor the service.

Food and service was excellent! We came in on a rainy Saturday afternoon and there wasn't a lot of people. We sat at the bar and got brunch. My husband got the two lobster rolls with a side of truffle Mac and cheese. He didn't offer me a bite so that's his way of telling me it was too good to share! I got the breakfast bowl and it was excellent. The potatoes were crispy and the vegetables weren't over cooked. Happy hour is daily 11a-7pm with mimosa specials for brunch! We had been on a walk when it started raining and didn't feel under dressed. I can see the ambiance being a bit more upscale for dinner but nothing too fancy. We are looking forward to coming back to visiting again soon!

A while back, a friend suggested that my husband and I should check out The Green Onion. We finally gave it a try last week, but unfortunately, we didn't find the food to be all that impressive. It lacked flavor and didn't meet our expectations. When I shared our experience with my friend, she mentioned that she had heard similar feedback from someone else recently.

What a wonderful experience, the food was well prepared with generous portions. The Malbec wine was superb and had a 50% discount because we were there on a Wednesday evening. I want to make mention of the addition of grab bars and safety railings in the men's room - I wish more restaurants were as thoughtful.

My husband and I came for dinner after calling to make reservations for their Friday evening wine tasting. The tasting seemed a bit disorganized and was pretty underwhelming. Nothing exciting on their wine list, but their bar area did look nice. Our server was friendly. The reserved table we had was up against the wall, there were a bunch of outdoor chairs to the left of us and a nail sticking out of the wall we were abutting. We ordered the bruschetta, which arrived deconstructed and with the bread being a rigid crisp. My meal was the scallops with champagne risotto, which was absolutely delicious. I wish there had been another scallop or two in the dish (it is served with 3), but this was really the star of the show. My husband ordered the Steak Diane. The steak was pretty average but was cooked to the proper temperature, so no complaints. The truffle mac served alongside was fantastic.Overall, the meal was alright as a whole but didn't seem worth the pricetag. If you end up dining here, I'd recommend sitting in their outdoor space, skipping the wine, and eating the scallops. There's some potential here, but we don't see ourselves back anytime soon.

I am from Chicago and was only in the area briefly but was on the hunt for a spot with New England style lobster rolls - was SO glad I chose the Green Onion! The lobster rolls were fantastic and portion size was great. They have a cute outdoor seating area & our waiter was extremely helpful, kind & attentive. 10/10 recommend this spot!
