I went through Grub to order from Insomnia Cookie and when I received my cookies I was disappointed, but I called to the store and I explained the situation to the Manager Mike and it was another recp that help me solve my issue...I made a trip to the store and I really appreciate Mike to redid my order...I will definitely take a trip to the Store from this point on..Thank you again Mike

We ordered for it to be delivered and we're notified that it is delivered by store staff which is fine. They were a little late also fine. HOWEVER the entire box of cookies and cookies themselves reeked of weed. Calling the store they kept ignoring my calls. Called from a different number they answered right away. We were told they have no manager for 2 days. We couldn't even eat the cookies they smelled so bad. It was extremely disappointing experience.

I tend to give a lot of grace to businesses, but when service is poor and the product is lacking, I usually try to speak up. I placed an online order recently and called to confirm pickup. Was told that my order would be ready by the pickup time of 1am. I waited for 30 mins outside for the pickup time AND gave an extra 10 minutes. When I arrived, the kid at the counter told me that my order wasn't ready and they weren't even busy. They didn't have a message online to indicate they were out of one of my chosen items, so I still had to choose something else. Still having to wait and then pick something else while the staff sat "relaxing" in the back (not a good look btw), I wouldn't even pay the toll to come to this place. Then my cookies were stuffed in a tiny box on top of each other, ending up broken. Def wouldn't recommend, find another option like Crumbl that's more professional with better presentation whose dough is worth your dough.

Don't understand how I order through Doordarsh and insomnia cookies "delivered" my order BUT... I never got it? I put in great detail about the apartment stating it was one the second floor. WORKER DROPPED IT OFF ON A PORCH( i saw through the pictured showed)... even besides that I couldn't get a hold of the store. Very sad day it was supposed to be a surprise for my dad's birthday..

my first time coming in, Cookies are good, prices were a bit pricey. the customer service is ?? bad. no hello, no welcome in, didnt feel friendly everyone at the counter ignored me when i went up there. the cashier was talking to the other worker who was busy while i was just starting at them. it was awkward as hell! ? ice cream was good though but not good enough to come back.
Had a craving for snickerdoodle cookies at midnight so took a 30 minute drive to Insomnia Cookies. This location is on ODU property. Surprisingly there was a line at 1230am lol but the line went quickly. Got my warm cookies and ate them in my bed. They were yummy. Few things to note before going. - they don't accept cash at all - parking is extremely limited - cookies are made fresh constantly throughout the day so if they don't have what you want simply ask - prices are kind of high

Even after being delivered in cold weather, these cookies were still warm and chewy. Almost melted after eating these; this was exactly what we needed at the moment. Y'all are amazing. Definitely getting again.

I called the store to request an order update, since my order hadn't arrived for over two hours. The young lady who answered the phone informed me that the status of my order indicated delivered, and when I inquired about a description or picture for WHERE my delivery was placed, I was told, "We aren't DoorDash." How clever. After contacting the delivery app, turns out their delivery driver's vehicle broke down and STILL hadn't canceled the order. While I'm not sure if that order would have been canceled if I hadn't called, it seems to me that perhaps the communication system with their delivery drivers as well as their customers needs work. I'm very sad that I never received my cookies, I had even requested the Retro Valentine packaging. Anyway, unfortunate customer service experience that I hope is not typical or repeated, because I really like these cookies.
3 times in a row I've paid $24 for "2" brownies but only 1 brownie was delivered with no way to get a refund, and "2" scoops of ice cream that is served in the same size container as one scoop or three scoops orders. I'm absolutely done, I'll go back to making my own delicious tray of 9 chocolate chip brownies and a tub of premium ice cream for $8 and have like 5 servings of what I paid for and didn't receive the last 3 times I've ordered here.

The cookies are amazing, but the fact that there's almost never a person in there anymore to order in person and that you cannot pay in cash is really annoying.
They are never consistent. You never know what you are going to get. I've tried giving them the benefit of doubt because when I first tried them they were awesome. However, they went from great, to delivering hard Cookies, missing Cookies, to missing an order. I contacted the store and the person that I talked to (male), was so rude. That will be the last time that I support this business.
