There are many sins committed in the name of French cuisine. Fortunately for the folks in Norfolk VA, La Brioche is a shining example of French breads and pastries done "comme il faut".We tried the sourdough loaf, the baguettes, the almond croissant and the pains au chocolat. Everything was a delight to the taste buds and the eyes.We would not hesitate to come back for more. This place is definitely worth the trip downtown.

What an amazing place! The pastries were delicious. The baguette was delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful. The prices were fair (not cheap, but totally fair for the quality). We paid about $50 for food and drinks for 4 people. The food was so tasty that I didn’t think to take a picture until we had eaten half of it. We will be back!

nice women even though there was a total miscommunication over the phone about them having hamamtaschen. the croissants are mid though. all croissants here are. nice pastries and atmosphere otherwise!

Wonderful corner of France in Norfolk. They take pride in all their offerings and as they should, every pastry, quiche and croissant is perfect. The eclairs are amazing. We will be back as there is so much to experience. Even the upstairs seating area is so quaint that you forget you are not in France. Try it and see.
