Superb diner! Eggs Benedict are the way to go. Always a wait to get in... for a good reason! Great staff! Please do not go Sunday's between 10-12... that's my time... don't want to wait more than the usual ;)

Great place! A bit of a wait on the weekend, but they have a nice indoor waiting room. The food is delicious and very friendly people. I recommend the French toast!

Ordered a three count of pancakes ($5) with chocolate chips (+$2) and a side of home fries and wondered if it would be enough food...the pancakes are MASSIVE. I now have enough pancakes for breakfast for the next two days! The pancakes are delishly fluffy and not greasy, nor did they skimp on the chocolate chips. Would definitely come back to try other menu options! Seriously go for the pancakes and you will not be disappointed.

The breakfast here I thought was overpriced. Mine was not hot at all, although it arrived quickly, the server was very nice though. I had the Eggs Benedict with smoked salmon, cheese grits (add 1.00) and toast. I really wanted to like this, and based on the reviews I was definitely underwhelmed.

I'm a little confused by the reviews. I arrived about 1030 am, and sat at the counter. I am from out of town, so I use Yelp often, However, this particular spot I found to be very average. The coffee was good and hot. I ordered the Eggs Royale, think Eggs Benedict with Salmon. It arrived very quickly, and very lukewarm. Also got cheese grits, which they add a dollar I guess for the cheese. And a side of toast. The portion size I thought was not great. I don't mind spending money, this just did not seem worth 22.00.

They have my favorite breakfast dish of eggs Benedict. Delicious. The staff is fantastic. I love this place and grateful we have OCEAN VIEW DINNER in our area.

My husband and I ate at this adorable diner this morning. The staff was extremely friendly. Our waitress told us she was new and it was so nice to see the other staff rally around to guide her (I mention this because we did not see this type of interaction where we ate yesterday and it was so disheartening.). The staff here acted like family. We left with full bellies. My husband had a cheese omelette with home fries. I had the breakfast special - fried shrimp eggs Benedict with avocado and bacon. It was SO good! The eggs were cooked perfectly and the shrimp was seasoned just right. It came with a side of grits - YUM!! The coffee was hot and my mug was topped off frequently.

Have been wanting to try this spot for a few months now and decided to stop by after church. They had a little wait as to be expected on Sunday morning and were short staffed but the staff working were still attentive and kind! Our food was DELICIOUS! I got the special which was a fried shrimp, avocado, bacon Benny soooo amazing! And my husband got the breakfast skillet which I tasted and was so good! I wasn't planning on writing a review other wise I would have taken a pic but we have been reminiscing on how good it was all day and that type of quality definitely deserves 5 stars!

My go to breakfast spot with the wife. Haven't had a bad meal. Love the mimosa options and the Bloody Mary was decent. Lunch is pretty good. Nice family owned vibe.

My husband and I met a friend for brunch yesterday. First time at Oceanview Diner. It's a locally owned small business. The mother and son owners were both working the floor and made us feel welcomed and at home. My husband had the Ruben sandwich. He said it was the best Ruben he has ever had. The bread did not get soggy and the corned beef was tender and so good. I had the breakfast skillet With Home fries, bacon, scrambled eggs and cheese In a skillet. Delicious. We definitely will go back.
What I ordered is FAR from what I got. I paid more for the food to get here than I did for the food. Plus, the food I got looks NOTHING like the food I ordered. For $10...where are the rest of the potatoes and where is the spinach??? I'm confused and don't recommend anyone to order from this place through Grubhub!

Great for brunch. We arrived just before 10AM on a Wednesday and were lucky to find seats at the counter. All the tables were full. It is also apparently a popular stop for the NPD. Corned beef hash was exceptional and the vegetable omelet was huge. It is clean and well lighted. Parking could be a problem. By the time we left, many tables were open.

Stopped by here after a work trip and we were not disappointed! Great vibe, very quaint and "home towny". Really sweet staff and amazing food! Will certainly be coming back. Definitely recommend the chicken and waffles as well as the big combo - they will definition fill you up! Everything is well priced. Always love supporting local joints like this!

We visited the Oceanview Diner today the first time. Absolutely delicious. The meatlovers omelet and the Shamrock omelet (home made corn beef hash). It came highly recommended by friends.

What a treat! We were out on this side of town and wanted breakfast and chose here based on reviews. Not disappointed! What we like to call people proof. Great service, wonderfully prepared food and good atmosphere. Just the right amount of space to make it quaint. Will be putting this on the short list of places to return to soon!
