I love their Chicken Philly. The best I’ve had locally. However, when the restaurant called to notify me the order was cancelled. The lady identified as the manager was rude confrontational and loud. Things happen but yeah. Just lost a customer.

Food was horrible unseasoned chicken,fish and greens.Odered turkey wings, greens and stuffing. No wings no stuffing had to get wingett's that were unseasoned greens straight out the can. Family didn't like the dinner at all. Will never go back there again I can cook way better than that. My food always receive excellent compliments.

For starters, my 1st visit unfortunately wasn't too pleasant. Upon pulling up to the door a Young lady (cashier/cook) running back and fourth to a car parked in front the store smoking weed laughing and giggling taking her time to tend to me. It was so bad that a 5yr old came to the register and attempted to take my order. (Cute n all) but her customer service at that point was better than the young lady smoking/entertaining her ride outside at that moment. I ordered a chicken for me and fish dinner for my mom that was overwhelmingly over seasoned with salt. The fish and chicken dinner both tasted like it was cooked in the same grease at the same time. I had yams on both my plates that was thicker than peanut butter, a side of mac that was eh, ok, and a side of cabbage. Overall, the customer service that day was like children cutting up when momma away. I'll come back when it's mature adults working. If i see them kids working again i'll come back another day smh

This place would be good if the food and service stay consistent. I’ve been here on three different occasions they leave food out or they change your side order without telling you fish this time had a lot of bones in it. Macaroni and cheese was too cheesy and greasy this sweet tea lemonade was pure sugar and water did not help.

ALWAYS CHECK YOUR FOOD BEFORE YOU LEAVE!!!! I Just left 15 minutes ago, was my first time there and I WILL NOT BE BACK! I ordered a fish sandwich chicken Philly and a 4 piece crab ball. 1. I received salmon balls instead of crab like be forreal!!!! Who wouldn’t notice that! They looked discolored and funny looking 2. My fish was barely done! The dark spots on the fish you see in the picture is the old bay! 3. The atmosphere was awful all types of riff raff walking in and out and around the establishment like I seen all these good reviews and really wanted to like them but bro they really played in my fast and I told them I was a first time customer! Smh it’s hard to support your own sometimes I tell ya

i just ordered from them off doordash and they sent me some damn pigs feet!! that's ridiculous and when i called they employee asked if i could speak with the manager she said they weren’t there and asked if i was able to come pick up my food like i didn't order on doordash!!

I've tried the fried chicken, fried fish, and Philly so far. Love, love, loved all!!Collards are sweet and savory with a lite pepper on the palate. I'm looking forward to trying more items on the menu.

I felt love as soon as I walked in the door. The music makes the atmosphere 10 times better. I felt very welcomed in the atmosphere they play the most beautiful jazz. The employees do their best to make it feel like home away from home. My house salad was so fresh and full of fresh ingredients. It was also topped with oranges and lemons which I have never experienced. The Collard Greens were seasoned like no other and had smoked turkey in them as well. They gave complementary cornbread and it was nice, warm, and sweet. I really enjoyed this place and I recommend everyone to try it because I definitely will be coming back.

The food here is so good I almost got emotional eating. ? I'm gonna spread the Plate Me Gospel to all my friends and family.??I had the crab cake plate with yams and hushpuppies. EVERYTHING WAS COOKED TO PERFECTION!!!I'm allergic to bananas but I decided to order a banana pudding. ?% worth it!!!! I regret nothing!!! ?LEMME TELL YOU THAT THEIR BANANA PUDDING IS TO LITERALLY DIE FOR. ? Or at least I was gonna lay my life down for it. ????They make it a unique way I have never seen before. The pudding was thick and creamy. ? They hook you up with a great big serving too. ?I can't stop thinking about my next meal there. ?Vegetarian options: I like that they cater to vegetarian folks too.
Hella good cornbread, home cooked meals that were delicious. Made from scratch nothing is pre fabbed. Bang bang sauce is tasty and a lot of variety and very reasonable prices.

I was very disappointed with service today. I ordered thru a food delivery service but my order was canceled because the store was closed but should've been open per delivery & online hours. So I called the restaurant and a man answered and said they was opened. This was 2 hours after it was supposed to be open. I ordered again because I wanted my shrimp & grits & my shrimp & grots came in a styro foam container. Unacceptable!!! I will never order from them again..
