Food was great once we actually got it. Went for taco Tuesday and the service was horrible. The only bartender was picking and choosing who she wanted to serve and openly ignored not only our party but multiple others as well. Might go back for the food but that’s it.

It's been a while since I felt so unwelcome in an establishment. We had to ask the wait staff to come back so we could order a second round, for forks so we could eat our food, and for the check so we could leave.The only reason this isn't 1 Star across the board is the bartender was good and attentive. The male server was completely clueless.

Building up this dead area on the right side between ODU and West Ghent called the Railyard district, I believe. Many things have gone up in some time. Like a traffic light on 27th street. With a blinking yellow arrow light to turn left. Whew, daddy, even with all of the construction in Norfolk, that's fancy and long overdue. Oh, I'm reviewing tacos. I think or thought they were great tacos. I had all flour tacos, one black bean, one fish and one shrimp. I think the shrimp may have been a little salty, but all 3 were really good. I'd go back. Kinda hard sitting on hard wooden picnic tables. Oh well. Good food!

We want DMZ to succeed BUT lately the weekend rush overwhelms the staff. The ticket ordering is too customized, they lose food orders and the kitchen can't keep up. The bar started different tabs every time we ordered so closing out was a mess.

Really laid back spot. Good selection of drinks but the real star is the tacos. Be sure to look for their special tacos: the standard ones are good but the specials are fantastic. You have to write them in on the ordering slip so its easy to overlook.

My taco meat was coldBartenders really nice though, but with it not being so busy I expected faster service. Also, the lady who was cooking who claimed to be the manager, very unprofessional. We told her that we got an extra fish instead of a chicken and she corrected us. And then said " it's almost last call, if I wanted to do I could just not make these". We got three Mahi when we only ordered two.Please, get a more professional manager that knows how to do damage control.Bartenders apologized a bunch which was great on their part. Even said "customer is always right" which is the mentality every good service industry worker should have. Because it's the business over your own personal input.Jeff&Alaina were great though and added a discount to our check due to the rudeness we dealt with!

As a Chef, this place infuriated me. It took better than 30 minutes to get 4 tacos and none of them were of suitable temperature to be served when they did arrive at the table. One cook and one bartender, while the owner is in the restaurant and did absolutely nothing to support his staff. Literally, stood around and ran his mouth to customers that they were short staffed and never lifted a finger. This, on a Saturday when there is a farmers market event at the brewery next door. The fact that there is a portrait of Anthony Bourdain on the wall escalates my distain for this establishment. Shame on you Mr. Owner. You don’t deserve this venue, nor the claim to your title.

I visited this place for the first time this week and had a great experience! It was difficult finding it at first because my GPS took me on a weird route. Nonetheless, I made it lol it was a very cool place walking in. Seems like a very chill, bar-like hangout spot! We were served by Lauren and she was pretty cool. Lauren was also very helpful in helping us decide what to eat! She definitely made sure we were well taken care of and had everything we needed. Now to the food! I loved the tacos!! I ordered the BBQ pulled chicken taco, shrimp taco, and chicken Philly taco. The BBQ chicken was my favorite! It was very well seasoned as well as the shrimp taco. I was extremely satisfied with my food! The chicken Philly was the least favorite for me, but it was okay. Prices were very reasonable here as well! Overall, I definitely plan on coming back!

A little off the beaten path tucked back by a brewery and a stone fired pizza trailer. The waitress encouraged me to try an orange crush which was amazing! The tacos were super filling, I chose to order two beef tacos with a sanctuary style shell (soft taco, cheese, hard taco, filling) and a pulled pork taco with a sanctuary style shell, and then I had a shrimp taco with a hard shell and a side of Cole slaw. Everything was amazing and super filling. Will definitely be back the next time we visit Virginia!
