I recently went for the 20th time to get my beef barbacoa street tacos (I LOVE THESE). They must’ve switched cooks or something because what I got was nothing like before. They were very runny, wet, and much smaller portion wise than before. The liquid leaked all over my car. Usually these are larger, drier, fresh cut onions/ ingredients, and the meat didn’t look like this as well? I have no idea what happened but now I’m sketched to go back. I really hope this is a one-off because I’d give this place 5 stars any day outside of today.

Fantastic little Cafe. I work within walking distance and love to go here when I forget to bring my own food. This place is takeout centered, so while you can eat in ignore the complaints about refills and other silly things.. that's just customer entitlement. This place is amazing and I love coming here!

Best salsa ever! Great little local gem. We were visiting Norfolk and passed it on the street so we turned around & stopped in only to find this quaint little eatery with great food. Glad we stopped.

During lunch, we ordered a burger and fries with lemonade to drink. Also, the openface turkey sandwich and collards with sweet tea. There is plenty of food and good flavor. Lemonade and sweet tea were very tasty. Staff is very friendly, and food comes out quick. Interesting interior as this place has a large variety of random signs, pictures, and other unique things to look at. I would visit again just to taste some of the other food.

My boyfriend and I came here while we were on vacation in Virginia and it is a great hidden gem of a cafe/restaurant, we had noticed it on a ride to a family members house near by and decided to stop by a few days later because we had already been to a White Dog Cafe restaurant in the Philly area so it was only right we came here too. The food was phenomenal, my boyfriend got the shrimp po boy, and I got the jerk chicken rice bowl and we got a side of Mac and Cheese too. The service was great, the Cafe has great welcoming feel too it which was great. We will definitely come back again in the future. Highly recommend!! They also have Black Dog Merch for sale too!

When was the last time you went somewhere and they had mini-arcade games, puzzles, and stuff to do while you wait for your order? The atmosphere here is laid back, the food of good, the selection expansive and the service excellent.10 out of 10, will certainly return!Parking: There are about 15 spots, maybe more, directly in front of the place.Kid-friendliness: They have video games and a giant chalk board. Your kids will like it.
