The pork belly and smack & cheese are my favorites so far, I also love the pickles and pickled veggies! Their bbq is just delicious. In addition to fantastic beer selection they have a lovely assortment of cider and sangria. Today I tried the raspberry peach sangria and the guava passionfruit cider, both delicious!

Absolutely love this place. The staff is great, there always stuff happening, a fun place to get together for something like a game night with friends and the FOOOOD. If you go here and they have the Texas Twinkie available that day, order it because omg. A pulled pork sandwich with that on the side will have you full, satisfied, and probably sleepy.

I am biased, as it is 3.5 miles from my house. I have had many of pints at this brewery on my way home from work or after a long day and need to relax on a Adirondack chair on the front porch. They have a beer for most, and eats for all, even the sweets for your kids.... or even grown up snacks like high end cookies and brownies. I will not tell you about the peanut butter pie! As for beer, they always have one I enjoy and that not always the case at some. The environment is casual and friendly, as it is near the shore. if you are with friends or a date, I think it's a no brainer for me. I will do a video soon on this establishment. The venue itself is very nice. A bit broken up but still has a cool feel. However, this business can’t figure out its true self. Immediately walking in, you’re met with a split bar/ food counter, both requiring separate transactions. Not a huge deal but somewhat confusing. The beer selection really sucks. I was under the impression that their frogman lager was their flagship beer. They don’t even have it on tap (cans only). In fact, we have been to multiple other local spots that have more BM beers than they do.The staff was very low energy and acted like they had better things to do. The thug rap pulsing in the background did not fit the environment whatsoever. It really took away actually considering the military atmosphere they are shooting for. Lots of potential but needs a major revamp in operations. Left after one beer and mediocre bbq to go over to a packed house and amazing afternoon over at Cova Brewing. Recommend heading there for a great time!

I have enjoy the Bold Mariner every time I have visited. The CPO is my favorite beer on the menu and the Barbecue always hits the spot. I have recommended this establishment to many people and they also have enjoyed it. Must stop if you are in the area.

A good place to grab a beer. They have a limited selection of snack type food but the hummus plate is great. If you go on the weekend you can get some of the best barbecue. The staff is always friendly and helpful. There is always plenty of seating. The tables are made of slabs of wood and are large enough to accommodate a bigger party. The beach is right across the street and they have a nice porch to sit on in good weather.

Before dinner, my friends and I stopped by The Bold Mariner Brewing Company. When we arrived, the parking lot was full. Luckily, we found street parking. There was a Bar-Q food truck in the parking lot. They are there Wednesday through Sunday. It was pitch dark outside and no Watch Your Step sign. As I walked up the side porch stairs, I missed the half step, and I fell forward on my face. Shortly after, I proceeded into the brewery. There was a selfie booth near their side entrance. I liked how there was a food line, a beverage line, and an ice cream line. I also liked how there was live music. For drinks, they had $5 Bold Jack Pumpkin Ale, Downeast Cider Strawberry, and other beers. Our party consumed a Honest Kids juice box, Lucky Cat Japanese Style Pilner, CPO IPA Hazy IPA, and Direct Deposit Fruited Gose. The Direct Deposit was light, smooth, fruity, tart, and amazingly delicious. It had a blend of blackberry, cranberry, and blueberry. Since they didn't have a Direct Deposit t-shirt, I purchased a pastel tie-dye t-shirt with the brewery logo in white letters.

The fresh live brews on tap, alongside with the BBQ that presents it's undeniable smoke aroma hint throughout the sipping quarters are ordered from the same station.
